ABRUMS -- Annie Louise "Lou" Abrums, 86, passed away June 17 in Santa Fe. Lou was born June 15, 1924 in Bienville, LA, she and her husband John moved to Albuquerque in 1949. Lou was very active in the Albuquerque community where she owned Brandywine Galleries for 20 years. Lou was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John D. Abrums, MD. Lou is survived by her daughter, Louanne and husband Wally Sargent, their children, Kristin and husband Justin Svetnicka, Adam and wife Stacey Sargent. Her son, John and wife Laura Abrums, their children, Dana and husband Roy Hughes, Gabriel and wife Alicia Abrums, Ely Abrums, Rachel and husband Joe Romero. Lou will be greatly missed by her six great-grandchildren; her loving sister Faye Underwood; and her dearest friend, Bobbi Montoya. Lou's cheerful presence will be missed by her friends and the wonderful staff at Kingston Residence of Santa Fe, where she lived for the past nine years.

AUMAN -- Father Robert E., age 91, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010. He was born in Eric, PA. Father Auman was a Priest of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, NM. He was ordained June 1, 1947 in Columbus, OH (The Pontifical College Josephinum). His Parishes included at on one time or another, Penasco, Trujillo, Wagon Mound, Ruidoso (twice), El Rito, Las Vegas, Sapello, Juarez Mexico, Bernalillo, Tome, La Joya, Tor C, Ft. Sumner, Mountainair and Vaughn. Of all his Parishes he loved Tome best of all. Father Auman published two books "The Three Centuries of Tome" and "Eucharist Through the Centuries". His pen name was "Roberto De La Vega" a translation of his last name. Father Auman gave all rights of his second book to the Legion of Christ, published by Circle Press, Handen, CT. Father Auman requests no flowers, have masses said for the repose of his soul. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary; and two brothers, Jerome and Harry. Father Auman is survived by all former parishioners. All services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Tome, beginning with a viewing on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Tome Catholic Cemetery. EDWARDS -- Roger William Edwards, Jr., passed away in Amarillo, TX. He was born in Durango, CO, on March 12, 1961 to Roger W. Edwards, Sr. and Rose Ann (Parks) Edwards. He was of the fourth generation of a pioneering family. William resided in the Ignacio, CO area most of his life, recently moving to Amarillo to seek cancer treatments. He was preceeded in death by his mother in 2007. He is survived by his father, Ignacio, CO.; L. Kathryn Jost, Los Lunas, sister; Thomas Jost nephew; Heather Hughes (Mike Tindall), niece; Rio Rancho; Ashli and Noah Tindall; Tiffanie Brawley (Camisha Fox), niece, Rio Rancho, and Tori Brawley. Also surviving are three sisters; one brother,; and a large extended family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local library. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

FRANK -- Charles G. Frank, age 59, returned to his Father in Heaven on Thursday, June 17, 2010. He is survived by his devoted wife Janis of 37 wonderful years; his two loving sons, Chuck and Chad; his sisters, Martha and Mary Jo Frank of Santa Fe; his niece Tanya and her son Jacob; his ex-daughter-in-law Kristin Ciccone; and the proud grandfather of Jack Frank. Charles was a proud native New Mexican born and raised in Santa Fe where he was a stand out athlete for Santa Fe High. He graduated from SUU in 1974 with a BA in Political Science and Business Administration - attending school on a football scholarship. Charles worked in the car business in Albuquerque for over 25 years and more recently in real estate sales. He was a YAFL coach for seven years, involved in youth rehab programs, and a private business owner of several businesses here in Albuquerque and a restaurant in Santa Fe. Charles was a great influence to all the people he interacted with throughout the years. The love of his life is his family. His favorite things to do were always centered on the family and making them happy. He had a kindness that was felt by all that knew him. We will miss you forever. HAUQUITZ -- Velma Jo "Nanny" Hauquitz, a very loving, caring and wonderful lady of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010. She was born in Hunting Park, CA on November 7, 1930. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She is survived by her loving husband George for a great 60 years. She is also survived by her children Steve and Cheryl Hauquitz of Rifle, CO, Scott and Susan Hauquitz of Albuquerque and Shelly and Kevin O'Hea of Albuquerque; her grand children Steve and Devon Hauquitz of Phoenix, AZ, Tammy and Ted Miernicki of New Castle, CO, Brian Hauquitz of Rifle CO, Craig and Bryn Hauquitz of Ivory Coast, South Africa, Chris and Hailee Hauquitz, Denae and Chris Fetters, Melissa and Steve Horwath, Katie Hauquitz, Conner O'Hea, Ryan O'Hea and Sean O'Hea all of Albuquerque. Jo also has nine wonderful and loving great-grand kids. Jo was the love of George's life. The two of them loved to go dancing and being with each other. She loved to cook and entertain good friends and enjoyed getting lost in reading her books. Traveling was something she loved to do and enjoyed every minute of these times. Working crossword puzzles was a great pastime. Jo had been a member of the Albuquerque Assistance League and really enjoyed being a part of the Bargain Box Bunch. That is where she met a lot of her great friends. If you met Jo she would have left a long lasting impression that would have enriched your life. It was appropriate she went to be with her Heavenly Father on Fathers Day. HERNANDEZ -- Adelbert P. Hernandez was born on February 24, 1940 and born into eternal life on June 19, 2010 after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Mr. Hernandez was an accountant for over 30 years. He was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his mother, Chonita Hernandez, and numerous relatives and friends. He will be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends who were inspired by Adelbert's love for God and his deep faith. LOGAN -- Miriam A Logan, 85, died June 22, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Fred; her children, Sue Logan and Randy Logan of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews and family members; and her beloved Molly. She is also survived by special friends, Dolores Lyke and Mort Khodai. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, G T and Pearl Henry; and her three brothers. MCROBERTS -- Thomas James Francis "T.J." McRoberts, age 27, of Ft. Gordon, GA and formerly of Simi Valley, CA, was called Home to be with the Lord after a tragic accident, Sunday, June 13, 2010. Thomas James Francis McRoberts, "T.J." as his friends and family called him, was born April 6, 1983 to James and Cecelia McRoberts in Simi Valley, CA. He was close to earning his bachelors Degree after which he planned to pursue his Masters Degree. Through a delayed enlistment, T. J. joined the Air Force, in February of 2003. During his career, T.J. served in Iraq, Qatar, and Korea. Stateside, he was stationed at Goodfellow and Langley AFB, and most recently at Ft. Gordon, GA. T.J.'s was a Senior Intelligence Briefer in the Air Force which required him to analyze and relay information. He had attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Staff Sergeant Thomas McRoberts was greatly loved by his Air Force brothers and sisters. Jim & Cecelia are very proud of the man that T.J. had become. He was slated to deploy to Afghanistan in October. T.J. is survived by his daughter, Cadence Langley; fiancee Monica White; parents James and Cecelia McRoberts, his sisters Holly McRoberts, Carly Braddam and husband Scott; niece, Zandrea and nephew Danny. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His commanding officer described T.J. as respected, admired, energetic, well-liked, and positive. PALLADINI -- Johnny (John) Guy Palladini, born June 4, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN, passed away, surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, June 19, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 59. John was preceded in death by his grandfather, John H. Jones; and grandmother, Ivon B. Jones. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Betty Palladini; son, John Michael; two granddaughters, Isabela and Alexandra; brothers, Thomas Palladini and wife, Bernadette, David Palladini, Tim Palladini and Barbara Stagg, Frank Palladini, and Paul Palladini; sisters, Jessica Sullivan and husband, Michael, Cindy Fajardo and husband, Richard, and Jackie Mora; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. SANDERS -- Bettye G. Sanders, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles W. Sanders; son, Stephen Carl Sanders of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Keith Paul Sanders and Jonathan David Sanders; sister, Louise Ballard of Abilene, TX; and numerous other relatives and friends. Bettye was preceded in death by her son, Dana Scott Sanders in 1975; parents, Charles and Effie Giles; and brother, Charles Giles. She was born on December 2, 1930 in Breckenridge, TX and graduated from Breckenridge High School. Bettye attended Abilene Christian College for one year before attending Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth. She married Charles W. Sanders on June 1, 1951 and they moved to Kermit, TX in 1953 and then to Monahans, TX in 1957, following Charles' job with Richardson Oil. In 1969 they moved to Albuquerque where Charles worked for Pubco Petroleum, a subsidiary of PNM. They lived in Nebraska a short time before moving back to Albuquerque. Bettye and Charles were long-time members of Montgomery Church of Christ. She was a passionate gardener and loved to cook for her family and friends. Bettye was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. SPONSELLER -- Donna L. Sponseller, 54, passed away peacefully June 9, 2010. Survived by loving husband of 25 years Matthew Sponseller. Known for her caring nature of people, Donna always said, "Keep the faith". Donna worked 30 years for the phone company. Daughter of Lillian Garcia and the late Steve Martinez. SULLIVAN -- Harley "Sully" T. Sullivan, 91, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 20, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Barnicoat; son, Larry Sullivan and wife Donna; grandson, Sean Sullivan; sister, Ethel Duncan of Columbia, KY; and many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends. Sully was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Genevieve; son-in-law, Ken Barnicoat; parents, Lesie and Robi Sullivan; and brothers, Alvin and Ed. Sully lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every day full of activities and friends. He loved fishing, yard work, feeding his birds, tinkering around the house with multiple projects, even recently buying a weed whacker with his winnings from the casino. He enjoyed traveling, especially going down to Elephant Butte, and was still driving at the age of 91. Sully was fiercely independent, although he was always ready to extend a hand to others. He was always ready with a joke, a witty remark or a story to tell. He had a simple country sense of humor that everybody fell in love with. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. TRUJILLO -- Horacio Trujillo, age 76, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 with his loving family by his side. Horacio was born to Basilio and Susana Trujillo in the small town of La Puente, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Doris Mae; siblings, Ignacita, Sotero, Basilio and Bernabe. He epitomized the term husband, father, brother, son and friend, for he demonstrated it every day of his life. Horacio is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cecilia; son, Bernard and wife Betty Trujillo; daughters, Lala and husband Leonard Garcia, Mary Margaret Trujillo, Angela Grace and husband Charles Smith (deceased); his grandchildren, Estevan, Joseph (J.B.), Christina, Dorie, Deanna, Quinn and Brenda; great-grandchildren, Cisco, Diego, Solana, Jacob and Aaliya; his brother, Pat and wife Margaret of Buena Park, CA. Horacio is also survived by an extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him greatly. VAN CLEVE -- Phyllis J. Van Cleve, 83, beloved wife of John for 65 years, Mother of two sons, David and Raymond (Kathie); one granddaughter, Amanda Green, and sister of Harry Newton Lasley and Family of Portland, OR., passed away, Friday, June 11, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nellie B. Walter, and five sisters; Jeanette, Imogene, Helen, Ruby, and Catherine. Phyllis loved to volunteer and worked with underprivileged children at Alameda Elementary School in the clothing bank. She volunteered at the Osteopathic Hospital (now known as Women's Hospital). She helped others and had a real servant's heart. Memorial Services will be conducted on Thursday, June 24, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at French - University Chapel. ZENTZ -- Cynthia Ellen Zentz, 54, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Jon Zentz; one daughter, Kaitlyn Zentz; one son, Jacob Zentz; four brothers, Clay Snyder and wife Pam of Reserve, NM, Cliff Snyder and wife Katherine of Apache Creek, NM, Britt Snyder and wife Jean of Roswell, NM, Cinco Snyder and wife Karri of Amarillo, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wesley Snyder; one sister-in-law, Ruth Snyder. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2010 in Davenport Canyon, NM.
