BALDONADO -- Frank Baldonado, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lillian Baldonado; sons, Danny Baldonado and wife, Evelyn and Tony Baldonado and wife, Karen; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three half brothers, Louie Cansino, Henry Cansino, and Eddie Cansino. He was preceded in death by two infant sons, Ronnie and Steven. Frank was adopted by Adelida Martinez de Baldonado and was born and raised in Albuquerque. Frank served in the Army during WWII and then retired from Mountain States Sporting Goods warehouse. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved dearly by his family who will miss him very much. Rosary will be recited on Monday, June 1, 2009, 9:30 a.m., at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. BAUER -- Joyce Bauer, 90, a loving and generous woman, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Married 67 years, she is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Bauer of Albuquerque, NM. Also surviving are several cousins from Indiana. Joyce was a very active pianist and accompanist in Albuquerque in her younger years, as well as various clubs. She was President of the Albuquerque Music Club, and also President of SAI. For many years she and her husband were members of the Marathon Bridge Club. A Service will be held in Joyce's honor on Sunday, May 31, 2009, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. BEREZA -- Elias Joseph Bereza, 80, went home to the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2009 with his son David by his side. He is survived by his son David; his longtime companion Dorothy Trafton; his grandchildren Christopher and Stefanie; great-grandchildren Alicia and James. He was preceded in death by his two sons Warren and Steven Bereza. Mr. Bereza retired from the US Army after 22 years of service, having served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He retired from the US Postal Service with 20 years of service. He loved gardening and traveling, especially cruises. Elias was a kind and gentle soul and will be deeply missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 8, 2009, 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. BERRY -- Daniel O'Connell Berry, age 44, on May 23, 2009 the angels came and took him to heaven. Daniel was born in Albuquerque on April 26, 1965 to Patrick and Connie Berry. First and foremost, Daniel's priority in life was his daughter Ashley. He dedicated his life to her health and happiness. Dan's heart was as big as he was. He was a very kind and generous person who often went out of his way to help anyone who needed it. It did not matter if it was family, friends or someone he did not know. Daniel graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1983, where he was a star basketball player. He attended New Mexico Highlands University on a basketball scholarship and graduated with honors in 1988. Daniel was employed by the USDA Forest Service. Daniel greatly enjoyed working for the Forest Service and appreciated the opportunity to work with the many wonderful people there. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Ashley Berry of Albuquerque; parents Patrick and Connie Berry of Los Lunas, NM; sisters, Barbara Saupe of Belen, NM, Margaret Berry of Los Lunas, NM, Jeanette Wilson and husband, Sam Wilson of T or C, NM; brother Patrick Berry Jr. and wife, Julie Wilber of San Francisco, CA; nieces, Trista Saupe of Belen, NM, Madison Wilson of T or C, NM; nephews Karl Saupe of Albuquerque, Jordan Berry of San Francisco, CA; uncles, Bob Guest and Dale Guest of Maywood, NE and many close friends. BROCK -- Milford C Brock, known to his friends as "Brock," passed away peacefully on May 27, 2009 at the Las Palomas Care and Rehabilitation Community in Albuquerque. He is survived by his sister VaNeal; four children, Brian, Pam, Bret, and Stephanie; their spouses; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was born in Fyffe, Alabama on June 17, 1926. The Brock family moved to New Mexico during the Great Depression, and initially lived in a tent located in a hobo camp near the Rio Grande River. He attended Lincoln Jr. High and Albuquerque High. From 1949 through 1954, Brock was a popular local racecar driver, beginning in midgets at the Rio Grande Sports Bowl and culminating with back-to-back super modified championships at Speedway Park at age 28. He also won the coveted Southwest Super Modified Championship in 1954. After the 1954 season, he retired from racing to pay more attention to his family and his growing garage business. At age 48, he retired from the garage business and moved to Elephant Butte Lake where he lived until his failing health forced him to move into a nursing home in Albuquerque. Brock was a unique and colorful individual, loved and admired as a gifted mechanic, a tenacious competitor, an avid outdoorsman, a helpful neighbor, a good father and a man who took special interest in helping young men who shared his love of cars and racing. He also possessed a very quick wit that put smiles on numerous faces. Brock will be missed by his family and many friends in New Mexico and across the country, but he has even more friends now greeting him on the other side. COLEMAN -- Georganna Coleman, age 88, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home Friday, May 22, 2009, after a short illness. Her family and beloved dogs, Luc, Maggie, and Scooter were by her side. Georganna was born March 1, 1921 in Flora, Indiana to George and Hilda Baum. She moved to Albuquerque in 1950 and resided in the Albuquerque area the rest of her life. Georganna and her late husband Jim, who preceded her in death in 2006, spent many wonderful winter months in San Carlos, Mexico enjoying their friends and exploring different areas in Mexico. Georganna loved to sew and garden, but will be most lovingly remembered as the "hostess with the mostess", entertaining many friends and family. Georganna is survived by her son Thomas Smith and wife Annie of Houston, TX, son Ed Jones and wife Sharon of Belen, NM, and daughter Karen Nickelson and husband Allen of Corrales, NM. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jenna Wessels of Oklahoma City, Tiffany Jones and husband Zack of Farmington, NM, Nina Howard and husband Jay and Mark Diaz of Houston, TX, Jennifer McMullin and Renee Andrews and husband Fred, all of CA. She had five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trace, Kimberlyn, Emily and Riley. She also preceded in death her two sisters, Penny McCann, and Bette D'Arco and husband Pat, all of Rio Rancho; and three nieces, Janna Pfautz and husband Bob of Hot Springs, AR, Cathy Thompson and husband Carl of Albuquerque, and Georgie Stuart and husband Clinton of Edmond, OK. DUARTE -- Adelita F. Duarte, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 27, 2009. Mrs. Duarte is survived by her sons, Dan Ortega and wife, Lillian, Steve Duarte and wife, Melissa, and Martin Duarte; her daughters, Christine Jaramillo and husband, John, Donna Valdez and husband, Art, and Doris Duarte; her brother, Major Orlando Fernandez and wife, Rita; her daughters in law, Glenda Ortega and Vivian Ortega; her sister in law, Laura Fernandez; her grandchildren, Christopher Ortega, Isaac Ortega, Fabian Duarte, Crystal Aguilar, Albert Jaramillo, Casey Jaramillo, Linda Archuleta, Loretta Valdez, Monica Valdez, Amy Morales, Jerome Ortega, Teresa Ortega, Patricia Ortega and David Ortega; 15 great-grandchildren; Mrs. Duarte was preceded in death by her sons, Frank Ortega, David Ortega, Albert Duarte and Michael Duarte. GERARDO -- Harriet Sue Gerardo, born October 9, 1941, was called home Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Harriet was born in Centralia, Illinios to Harry and Blanche Griffin. She became a registered nurse, graduating from Julia F. Burnham School of Nursing in 1962, and worked for several years in the pediatrics ward at St. Joseph's hospital in Albuquerque. She will be remembered as a person who always helped a friend in need. Harriet is survived by her two daughters, Gina Gaedke and husband Paul and Nicole Gerardo and husband Josh; and two grandchildren, Griffin and Carley Gaedke. GRIJALVA -- Josephine Tafoya Grijalva, age 93, left her beloved family to join the Lord on May 24, 2009. Josephine was born in Hillsboro, NM on December 22, 1915, to Adolfo and Adela Chavez Tafoya. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie A. Grijalva, her parents, son-in-law Wilfred Sanchez, siblings Selia Baca, George Tafoya, Maggie Austin, Mary Elizabeth Tafoya, Sista Tafoya, and Raymond Tafoya. Josephine is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Gomez and husband Ruben, and Betty Jo Sanchez; grandchildren, Ruben Anthony Gomez and wife Julie Griego, Cissy Santillanes and husband Jeff, Steve Sanchez and wife Shauna, Joey Rae Sanchez Fabsits and husband Michael; great-grandchildren Jessica Martinez and husband Sebastian, Jaime Cherry and fiancee Jaime (Junior) Castro, Jennifer Wessell and husband Jeff, Kelly Robertson and wife Amanda, Katherine & Kristyn Santillanes; great-great-grandchildren Andrea and Savanna Wessell, Luke Martinez, Rochel, Shayann & Roxion Sanchez, and Wil Sanchez Fabsits; sisters, Priscilla Peterson, and Stella Caperton; sisters-in-law, Priscilla Tafoya & Ellen Tafoya Tow; a very special niece Patsy Escarzega Simpson, and close family friend, Nettie Alvarez; many nieces and nephews and close friends. A pioneer resident of Mimbres, New Mexico, Josephine, along with her husband Willie, operated the Grijalva Apple Orchard for many years. She relocated to Santa Fe after the death of her husband, where she became very active in Senior Affairs. She served for many years as Secretary of the Senior Council, and did extensive volunteer work at the Luisa Senior Citizen Center. She was named Senior Citizen of the Year many times for her work on behalf of senior citizens. Josephine loved to read, play bingo and cards, dance, and do ceramics. She created many beautiful pieces, most of which she gave to friends and family; but most of all, she loved her family deeply and centered her life around them. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her. She was a devout Catholic and was very active in the church for many years. Visitation will be from 5 p.m., with Rosary at 6 p.m. on May 29, 2009, at Bright Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 30, 2009 at 10 a.m., at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, San Lorenzo, NM, with Father Flores as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Grijalva family cemetery on Bear Canyon Dam Road, Mimbres, NM. HARPER -- Janet Eillene. With great sadness the family of Janet Eillene Harper announces her passing on Monday, May 25, 2009. A native of Albuquerque, Janet passed peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 74 after surviving Alzheimer's for the past ten years. Janet attended UNM and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was very active in her church and known as an advocate and a leader in Marriage Encounter for many years. Janet was the daughter of James and Edith Thompson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James C. Harper; her brother James Thompson (Donna); her sons, Rick Harper (Chris), Steve Harper (Kathy) and her daughters, Sheri Sullivan (Scott), Debbie Telles (Adolpho); her grandchildren, Danielle and Casey Harper, Zach and Josh Harper, Nick and Michelle Sullivan, Christopher, Patrick, Patricia and Art Telles and Liana Ortega. LINK -- Warren H. Link, a resident of Rio Rancho went home to our Lord on May 22, 2009. He is preceded in death by his wife Arlyne. He is survived by his sons, Ronald and wife Dorothy of Ruidoso, NM; Brian and wife Frances of Rio Rancho, NM; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Grace Bouffard of Albuquerque. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He has a degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York. He worked as Service Manager of General Electric Co; Head of Customer Relations Executive Offices J. C. Penney Co. He served in US Submarines during WWII, earning 15 Decorations and the Bronze Star. He was active in Boy Scouts for 50 years, earning Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver. He was Past Master of a Masonic Lodge in CT; past President of Sub Vets of WWII, past President of Fiesteros Round Dance Club, Shooting Stars Square Dance Club; a member of the Son's of the American Revolution, American Legion, VFW, Aux Honor Guard and DAV. MENSCHING -- Ruth Cecelia Mensching nee Hinrichs, 88, of Rio Rancho Passed away on May 27, 2009 from cancer. Ruth was born in Buffalo, NY on February 19, 1921, and lived most of her life in Des Plaines, IL where she married Melvin Mensching on January 17, 1942. She worked for the Burlington Railroad, and as a school bus driver for Immanuel Lutheran School. In 1986 she and Melvin retired to New Mexico. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Melvin in 1991. Survivors include her son Charles and his wife Tracy; daughter and caregiver Debra Mensching, and granddaughter Amanda McCafferty and fiance Chris Pariseau. Ruth was an exceptional baker, famous for her apple pie and brownies. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church for over 20 years, where she was an active member in the choir and Director of Social Ministry. One of her greatest joys was putting the needs of others before her own. Her favorite TV shows included "Law and Order" and "Walker, Texas Ranger." OTTO -- Henry William Otto, 88, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on May 27, 2009. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy; daughters Sherena Triplett, Gina Eckstein and fiance Barry Madden; grandson Matthew Triplett and fiancee Kathleen Mast; granddaughters Shannon Triplett, April Payan and husband Ernesto Payan Jr. and son Miguel Angel Payan. Henry was born in Esterville, IA on May 16, 1921. Out of high school, he served as a proud Marine, where he met Dorothy in Pensacola, FL. He proudly service his country in World War II, and the Korean War on Iwo Jima. They then relocated to Texas where he worked as a lineman for West Texas Utility. He then joined the Federal Aviation Admin. and relocated to Albuquerque in 1963. Henry shared his passion for woodworking and travel with his family. PERRY -- Larissa Michele Marie Perry, 17, born Sunday, August 11, 1991, died from injuries due to a car accident on Friday, May 22, 2009. She graduated from Farmington High School on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Larissa always had a smile on her face and touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was the pride and joy of her family and she will be missed terribly. She loved children and was planning on becoming a pediatrician. Larissa loved to travel, with a trip planned this week to London and Paris with her grandma Jane. She was an accomplished pianist, flutist and clarinetist. Larissa loved dance, volleyball, music, swimming, karate and spending time with friends and family. She always went her own way and set her sights high. Larissa always put together the most unique outfits and colors and they always looked so good on her, even when nobody else would think of it, she was a fashion butterfly. You could always find her with her big sunglasses, the biggest purse she could find, and her lanyard of keys, more than any janitor or businessman ever carried. She had so many kids that she took care of for so many years and absolutely loved all of them. Larissa was just beginning the second stage of her life and education, and all she dreamed about was helping and saving kids. She is survived by her parents, Michele and Ron Lockmiller, and David and Loreen Perry; brothers, David Perry, Steven Lockmiller and wife, Kirstin, Justen Lockmiller and wife, Sarah, and Justin Cumley; grandparents, Roy and Yvonne Crochet, David and Jane Perry, and Mary Thomas; aunts, Sandra Crumley, and Joella Thomas; uncles, Brian Crochet and wife, Rena, Christopher Crochet and wife, Donna, Stephen Chochet and wife, Nancy, Tim Callahan and wife, Debbie, John Lockmiller and wife, Elizabeth, and Jeff Thomas; cousins, Douglas, Mike, Michelle, Ian, Amy, David, Braeden, Corinne, Sarah, Charlie, Zachary, Gage, Justen Jr., and Faith; and so many more cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Larissa was preceded in death by her cousin, Charlie Crumley, who always held a special place in her heart and they are together now, taking care of each other; great-grandmothers, Gladys Smith, Inez Crochet, Cleo Giles, and Madeleine Perry; great-grandfathers, Paul Perry, and Gerald Giles; great-uncles, Ian Smith and Peter Smith; uncle, Douglas Crumley; and her cousin, Elizabeth McKenna. We are sure that she has already organized a special day care or children's organization in heaven and will be there watching over all of us forever. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and we wish to thank Monica Leeming and Cecilia Talbie for comforting and staying with Larissa at the scene of the accident and to Dr. Carthart who worked on her at the scene and all the way to the hospital and to all the emergency and medical personnel who tried to save her. REYELTS -- MARY B. Inurnment Services for Mary B. Reyelts, 94 of Cortez, CO will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Sandia Memory Gardens in Albuquerque, N.M. Mary was born July 25, 1914 in Benzie, MI the daughter of Louis and Magdalena (Ivancik) Bazany. She passed away at her Cortez home on Thursday, May 28, 2009. Mary received her education in a Michigan one room farmhouse school. On July 3, 1942 Mary married William G. Reyelts in Alexandria, LA. After making a move to Albuquerque, Mary became a member of the American Business Women's Association. During her tenure, she served as President. Twenty three years ago Mary and William moved in with their daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tim. These were cherished years between the four. Mary made the move along with Judy and Tim to relocate to Cortez two years ago. She loved to travel and in February 2009, Mary went to see her first great-great-grandchild in California. Mary was always thoughtful of others before herself. Surviving Mary are her daughter, Judy Kline and husband, Tim of Cortez; five grandchildren, Jeannie Paynter, Tina Bagon and husband, Brian, Cheri Norton and husband, Chris, Lisa Klopf and husband, Ron, and Timothy J. Kline and wife, Kortney; by 12 great-grandchildren, Brandi West, Chris Pariseau, D.J. Paynter, Kyra Paynter, Mathew Lovato, Lauren Lovato, Brandon Bagon, Evan Bagon, A.J. Klopf, Kellie Klopf, Kyle Kline, and Kenzie Kline; and by one great great grandchild, Michael J.D. Ward. Preceding Mary in death were her husband, William; great-grandson, Lance Corporal Jeromy West; and by her six brothers. Arrangements are being made through Ertel Funeral Home. RODRIGUEZ -- Deborah (Debbie) Ann Rodriguez, 53, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 28, 2009. Debbie is survived by her parents, Mickey and Carmen Rodriguez; her sister, Lisa Rodriguez; her brothers, Phillip Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, and Vincent Rodriguez and wife, Donna; her niece, Vanessa Coppola and husband, Richard; many aunts, uncles, cousins, many special friends and coworkers; and her special dog, Vegas. Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mickey Michael Rodriguez. Debbie was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. SANCHEZ -- Ernest J. Sanchez, 92 of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He was born February 13, 1917 in Duran, NM to Juan B. and Louise U. Sanchez. Ernest is survived by his daughters, Oma Sandoval and Carla Remington; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Sefora Baca-Sanchez; daughter, Catherine O. Thornton; four brothers; one sister; and one grandchild. SANCHEZ -- Margie B. Sanchez, 80, mother, grandmother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 26, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Lorraine Valenzuela, Ronnie Sanchez and wife, Lorrie, Shirley Gabaldon and husband, Alfred, Teresa Armenta and husband, Matt, Doris Sanchez and husband, Eric; her loving grandchildren, Mattie, Bryan, Marc, Antoinette, Beverly, Jason, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Erica, Crystal, Mike, and Marcus; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Isaiah, Julian, Elijah, Madalynn, Kendall, Jenelle, Marcos, and Mercedes; her sister, Dora Garza; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sierra and husband, John; brothers-in-law, Bonifacio Sanchez and wife, Alice, and Freddy Sanchez and wife, Sally; numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and neighbors whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Marcos Sanchez. Margie was a devout member of the St. Edwin Catholic Church. There she was a member of the Legion of Mary and was a Eucharistic Minister. Margie retired from the Bernalillo County Treasurers office after 25 years of service. SCHOPPE -- Marilyn A. Schoppe, 76, the Queen of our hearts, the lovable, huggable little mamacita, died Thursday, May 28, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Malcolm E. Schoppe; children, Tom Tomlinson, Michael Holman, and Malcolm Schoppe, all of Seattle, WA, Jeanne Tomlinson, Renie Ray and husband, Chett, Angie Tomlinson, Tracy Tomlinson, Robert Schoppe, and Karen Schoppe and husband, William Nelson, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, James T. Ray, Catherine A. Ray, Michael L. Holman, Kevin W. Nelson and wife, Eileen, Kimberly M. Nelson, Daniel R. Schoppe, and Julia A. Schoppe; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Savanna, and Ryan; sisters, Margaret Hargrave of Albuquerque and Evelyn Cardinal of Ogdensburg, NY; and numerous other relatives and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Sovie; sister, Jeanne Brown; and first husband, Jimmy Tomlinson. She was born on November 10, 1932 in Ogdensburg, NY and graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Ogdensburg. Marilyn moved to Albuquerque in 1958 where she worked for Dr. Denzler for many years. She married Malcolm E. Schoppe in December 30, 1977 and they moved to Seattle where she was proud to be a price analyst in the Civil Service. Among many contracts she was most proud to have negotiated for Air Force One, made by Boeing. After her retirement they moved back to Albuquerque and Chama and enjoyed traveling in their motor home. Marilyn loved to fish, do ceramics, play cards and read. She was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Community. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. VAU -- Augustine "Gus" T. Vau, 89, a life-long resident of Albuquerque went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Fowlkes and husband, Walt of Pearland, TX; Gloria Garcia and husband, Jim of Albuquerque; Molly C De Baca of Albuquerque; Augusta Lucero and husband of Flavio of Albuquerque; sons, Gary Vau and wife Kitty of Aurora, CO and James Vau and wife, Donna of Spring, TX; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Augustine H. Terrazas of Albuquerque; and numerous other relatives and friends. Gus was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Flora, in 2006. He was born on October 5, 1919 in Albuquerque to Augustine Terrazas and Virginia Vau. Gus graduated from Albuquerque High where he was No. 52 on the Bulldogs Football team. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Flora Tafoya in 1939. Gus served in the Coast Guard during WWII and the US Navy afterwards. He worked at a couple of local furniture stores where he extended credit to families just starting out in life. Gus retired from the Bernalillo Sheriff's Department after 22 years of service. He was a giving, friendly and out-going person who never met a stranger. Gus was a long time member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church and American Legion Post 69. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. YODER -- James R. Yoder, a loving and beloved husband and father passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009, following a courageous battle against cancer. Jim is survived by his wife, Dolly Yoder; his son, Stephen E. Yoder; step-daughters, Suzzette Higgins and husband, Jim, and Sandy DuBrock and husband, Greg; three grandchildren, Hayley, Alec and Stuart; his sister, Susie Yoder; and brothers, Mike Yoder and Richard Yoder and wife, Carolyn. Jim was a life long resident of Albuquerque and enjoyed an illustrious 43 year career at Sandia National Laboratories. Most recently, Jim led the Emergent Threats Organization in the Systems Assessment and Research Center. Prior, he led the Systems Technologies organization and was responsible for the development of sensor systems to acquire and analyze data from sources ranging from laser light to nuclear radiation. In 2003 Jim spent several months as a loaned executive helping establish the Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection organization in the then new Department of Homeland Security. In 1995 Jim was appointed acting Director of Sandia's Advanced Information Technologies Center. The appointment ultimately led to a two-year assignment as Senior Planning Officer for the Directorate of Science and Technology at the Central Intelligence Agency. Jim continued with the CIA serving on two Senior Advisory Panels. Jim was a member of the Albuquerque Council on Foreign Relations, the AIAA, and the IEEE. Jim has authored many formal reports and journal articles and papers presented at national and international conferences. Jim shared his passion for reading and travel with his family by spearheading and accompanying his family on numerous trips. Jim has flown airplanes and hung around airports for over thirty years. The Yoder family wishes to thank all the wonderful friends and the care provided by Lovelace Hospital during Jim's battle. In keeping with Jim's stated wishes, there will be a private/family service only.
