COFFELT -- Bobby Ray Jr. February 18, 1971 - June 1, 2004 Today I will remember what a blessing you were the day you were born. You were such a beautiful baby and you grew up to be such a handsome man. God brought us together for a time and filled our lives with good and bad times. I cherish the memories of both, but still, these memories cause me pain and sadness. I thank God for the time and years I had with you. Those memories I will carry in my heart the rest of my life. I miss you dearly. Today I will remember your smile, your laugh, and what a happy person you were and how much you were loved, but I know you are happy being with your dad. God bless you. KITTREDGE -- William "Bill" Kittredge, 70, went to be with his LORD on February 14, 2009. He was born on November 18, 1938 in Taos, NM to Joseph and Pearl Kittredge. He is survived by his first love, Erleen "Lynn" Holquin, and their children, Dino and Susie Lee of Indian Hills, Tony and Lisa Kittredge of Westminster, Monique & Hank Braaksma of Arvada, and Robin Star and Timothy Ake of Arvada. He leaves also second wife, Maria Kittredge of Denver, daughters, Nydia, Linda, and son, Bill, companion Dolores Peverill of Lakewood, 10 beloved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, and siblings, Larry Kittredge of Albuquerque, NM, Marjorie and Gary Briles of Sierra Vista, AZ, Victoria Kittredge of Albuquerque, NM and Tony Kittredge of Las Vegas, NV and his many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother Freddy, and two sons, Dominique and William. As a young boy Bill excelled in school. His love of reading was insatiable, and often saying "If you read, you can go anywhere in the world." Bill's life was about his family and as it grew he took joy in sharing their experiences. He spent his young adult life raising a family on a modest income and was still able to do many fun and exciting things with his kids. After locating in Denver in 1960, Bill worked as a waiter/maitred in many of the city's upper echelon restaurants, including Lafayette's and Chateau Pyrenees. Bill loved a good game of pool, and enjoyed going to the drive-in movies, going on picnics in the mountains, cooking, exercising, roller coasters and going to the zoo and museum. He took his young family on many trips to Taos to see his parents and siblings. Bill always made it a point to make sure the major holidays were spent with his children's grandparents on both sides. Bill felt it was important to keep the close connections with family. Many would describe Bill as a loving man. He loved his mother very much and even as his health deteriorated, he made trips to Albuquerque to spend time with her. Bill was a wonderful brother and was always very loving, gracious and giving to his siblings. Bill very much commanded respect from his children and taught them from the earliest years to demonstrate good manners, to speak respectfully to their elders and to embrace each other regardless of short comings. Bill's life has been full and as was sung at his most recent birthday, he did things his way. Bill will be greatly missed by many and though his sense of humor may be forgotten his love and his genuine acceptance of his family and friends will live in testament of him. The paradox of Bill's passing on Valentine's Day is not lost on those whose lives he touched - because he captured the essence of life in love. Bill, Billy, Daddy we will miss you dearly but we know your love will live on in the hearts and lives of all the many people you have touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to your favorite charity. Feel free to share your memories at http://memorial.yourtribute.com/williamkittredge/
