GUTIERREZ -- Martin Gabriel Gutierrez, age 28, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 10, 2007. A Rosary will be recited this evening (Wednesday) at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. HAEGELIN -- Lynnette R. Haegelin, age 66, passed away on February 10, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on May 6, 1940 in Albuquerque, NM to Herman and Margaret Roser and was a third generation New Mexican. Lynnette was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and friend. Lynnette was a caring and compassionate person not only to her family but also among her friends. She loved to garden, play bridge with her friends and spend time with her grandchildren. Throughout the years Lynnette enjoyed several trips with her husband and sister to Europe and Asia and annual family trips to San Diego, CA. She was a charter member of the Tanoan Country Club, she was a past president of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Grand Worthy Advisor for the Rainbow Girls and past president and active member of the P.E.O. Lynnette was also a teacher for the Albuquerque Public School system; she taught Biology at Manzano High School. Lynnette will be greatly missed and her life and her love will never be forgotten. Lynnette is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her children: daughter, Denise Penners and husband, Donald of Albuquerque, NM and son, Steve Haegelin and wife, Juli of Pasadena, CA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Nicole and Jessica Penners and Jeff and Kristin Haegelin; her loving sister, Betsy Carpenter and husband, Fred and son, John of Albuquerque, NM. Lynnette is also survived by numerous relatives in Albuquerque and the Socorro area and her Bridge Club of 42 years. HAWK -- Thomas G. Hawk passed away suddenly on the morning of February 12, 2007 surrounded by family and friends. He was a generous, loving, thoughtful spirit and he will be missed by all who knew him. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Chapel. HOGAN -- Michael Campbell Hogan, age 20, of Rio Rancho, died after falling from a cliff while hiking with friends near Socorro. He was a student at New Mexico Tech where he studied computer science and mechanical engineering. Michael was a graduate of Rio Rancho High School, Class of 2004. He was a highly spirited and creative person with a great love of life. He was an awesome son, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Michael is survived by his mother, Kathy Campbell of Rio Rancho; sister, Rebecca Hogan of Albuquerque; father, Patrick Hogan and wife, Mary Ann DeBoer of Chama. JACOBI -- Adah D. "Sandy" Jacobi, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968 died Monday, February 12, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard C. "Jake" Jacobi of the family home; two children, Sue Jacobi and Diane Jacobi, both of Rio Rancho; extended family, Elisa A. Bowyer and husband, Charles, of Albuquerque, Christopher A. Foster and Alfred D. Foster, both of Albuquerque; cousin, Lawrence Vickers and wife, Nancy, of Spring Grove, PA; her dog, Taz; and numerous friends. Sandy was born May 31, 1921 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charles Earl D'Arcy and Martha Bernice Sander. After graduating from high school she worked for Western Union to put herself through nursing school. Upon graduating from the Hospital for the Women of Maryland she worked at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore until joining the Navy Nurse Corps on December 17, 1947. It was during her proud service to her country that Sandy met Richard C. Jacobi and they were married in October of 1949. She was discharged from the Navy on November 22, 1949 and followed Richard to his numerous assignments in his Navy career. Albuquerque was their last tour of duty and they decided to retire here. Sandy loved gardening, painting, bowling, needlework, fine food, and travel. She had a wicked sense of humor that could keep a room in stitches. Sandy was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. JARAMILLO -- Augustine "Gus" Jaramillo, beloved husband and father, died Saturday after his long battle with cancer at the age of 64. Gus was a longtime resident of the Albuquerque area and is survived by his wife, Carmen Jaramillo; their four children, Evelyn Apodaca and husband, Louie Apodaca, David Jaramillo and fiancee, Tracy Black, Greg Jaramillo and wife, Maggie Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo and wife, Karla Jaramillo. Gus was surrounded by family and close friends during his life, which included 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Gus will be greatly missed for his smile and his devotion to his wife and family. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at Holy Child Parish, 19 Camino del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM (505) 281-2297. LANDES -- Nicolene (Nickie) DeNapoli Evans Landes passed away at her home in Dallas, TX, on February 12, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer; her family was at her side. Nickie was born January 30, 1962, in St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated from Manzano High School in Albuquerque, NM. She was a beloved and devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. Nickie was preceded in death by her father ,Tom DeNapoli and grandfather, Allen Magill. She is survived by her children, Austin and Peyton Evans; husband, Brett Landes; stepchildren, Katie, Chandler, Caleb and Carson Landes; mother, Kay Dawson; grandparents, Sara Magill, Albert and Josephine DeNapoli; aunts and uncles, Lori and Bob DeLay, Cynthia and Wayne Koons; brothers and sisters, Tom DeNapoli, Tony DeNapoli, Cynthia Hodges, Charles Hodges, Lana Norlander, Natalie Conticelli, Melissa Johnson, and Gaye Hodges; cousins, brothers- and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Nickie and her children are members of Highland Park Methodist Church. Nickie was very generous and passionate in everything she did, including her work with Cattle Barons Ball, Dallas Junior League, Little Heroes Foundation and other charitable organizations. Her hobbies included cooking, travel, reading, fashion, decorating and volunteering with her children's schools and other activities. Nickie was devoted to her children and their friends. Nickie will be well remembered by family and friends for her courage, her zest for life and her desire to bring sunshine and happiness to everyone she knew. Nickie knew how to live everyday to the absolute fullest. Her children were her first and last thought of every day. Her door was always open to all of her friends and family. The family will receive visitors at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Highland Park United Methodist Church in the main sanctuary, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75005. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Little Heroes Foundation.

LYON -- Gail Lyon, 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2007. She is survived by her sons. Charles Lyon and wife, Elizabeth of Albuquerque, Sean Lyon and wife, Sandra of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Jeremy, Michael, Victoria, and Evan; and brother, Hal Martin and wife, Sue of Albuquerque. Gail was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She shared her love as a foster parent since 1984. She will be missed greatly by all whose lives she touched, and will remain in our hearts forever. Cremation has taken place.
