Michael Campbell Hogan, age 20, of Rio Rancho, died after falling from a cliff while hiking with friends near Socorro. He was a student at New Mexico Tech where he studied computer science and mechanical engineering. Michael was a graduate of Rio Rancho High School, Class of 2004. He was a highly spirited and creative person with a great love of life. He was an awesome son, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Michael is survived by his mother, Kathy Campbell of Rio Rancho; sister, Rebecca Hogan of Albuquerque; father, Patrick Hogan and wife, Mary Ann DeBoer of Chama. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 14, at 6:00 p.m. and a reception to follow at French Mortuary Westside Chapel.
