ADAMS -- Douglas Spencer Adams, age 55, passed away in Albuquerque on Saturday, November 10, 2007. He was born on December 12, 1951 in Munich, Germany. Douglas was in the Air Force Academy and a graduate of UNM in May of 1974 with a Bachelor's of Arts. He was an avid sports fan and an active member of the LOBO Club. Douglas worked as a supervisor for LPG Enterprises and McDonald's for over 20 years. He was a loving husband and son, he was very outgoing and friendly to others. Douglas will be greatly missed and his memory will always be cherished by those who knew him and loved him. Douglas is survived by his wife, Linda Adams of Los Lunas, NM; his parents, Lt. Col Dennis S. Adams, USAF retired and wife, Lois V. Adams of Albuquerque, NM; his in-laws, Thomas M. Zander and his wife, Anne, of Los Lunas, NM, his brother-in-law, Tom Zander and wife, Peggy of Los Lunas, NM; his sisters-in-law, Mary Zander of Los Lunas, NM and Helen Quintana and husband, Juan of Albuquerque; and five nephews. AUGE -- Mrs. Domitilia Auge, 96, a resident of Belen passed away on November 13, 2007, and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mrs. Auge is the beloved sister of Rafaelita Silva, Mary Atencio, Esther Flores, Eloy Sandoval and wife, Maida, Daniel Sandoval and wife, Rosalie. Mrs. Auge is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Reina Sandoval, Emma Sandoval and Flora Sandoval; special friends and caretakers, Mary Baca, Frances Chavez and Susan Carrasco; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Auge was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Felicita Sandoval; her husband, Roy Auge; her brothers, Henry, Albert, Jimmy, Ernest Sandoval; and brother-in-law, Eduardo (Lalo) Silva. Mrs. Auge was a member of the Catholic Church and retired from teaching after forty years having taught both in New Mexico and Michigan. Visitation for Mrs. Auge will be Friday, November 16 , 2007 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church in Belen, New Mexico from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Steven Schultz, presider. CHAVEZ -- Clara Chavez, 79, of Albuquerque, passed away on November 11, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Manuel Chavez, a World War II veteran. Mrs. Chavez is survived by her two sons, Manuel and Arthur and her daughter, Mary Canizales and her husband, Saul. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Clarita was a lady before her time; an entrepreneur who worked with her husband in their family businesses which included a nightclub, jewelry store, boutique, and secondhand store. A Viewing will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE). Rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m. also at Reflections. CROSSE -- Margaret "Anne" Crosse, 67, a long-time resident of Albuquerque died Sunday, November 11, 2007 after a valiant 18-month struggle with cancer. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to Margaret Josephine Schirm and Edward Barrington MacNab on August 28, 1940. Anne is survived by her husband, Murray of 46 years; son, Kevin Crosse and wife, Laura of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Kim Michalk and husband, Ron of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren, Jordan and Kyle Crosse, and Michelle, Madeline, Meagan and Nathan Michalk; sister, Patricia Del Tredici of Crested Butte, CO; and many loving nephews, nieces and countless friends. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alexander "Hondo" MacNab of Albuquerque. She achieved a personal goal, graduating from UNM in 1989 at the age of 49. Anne cheerfully volunteered for Presbyterian Hospitals since 1972 and was an active member and fervent supporter of her local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter. EARLY -- Stephen "Boats" Early passed away at his Albuquerque home on November 11th 2007. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Martha "Cricket" Salyer, and his father, Captain Frances Early. Steve leaves behind his beloved wife of 39 years, Jeanette "Jenny" Early. His two daughters, Susan Mullins and husband, David of Las Cruces NM, Stephanie Martin and husband, Shawn of Auburn, Maine. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Melissa Mullins of Las Cruces, NM, Kenny and Kyle Romero of Auburn, Maine. His three sisters, Anne Decker of Washington, Mary Salyer and her husband, Jeff Dodd of Ruidoso NM, and Joan Quirici and her husband, Bob of Albuquerque NM. Steve retired in 1986 from the US Navy with over 21 years of faithful service, which included three tours of duty in Vietnam where he served his country proudly. His favorite tour of duty was when he was stationed on the Island of Guam, where scuba diving, coaching the Naval Station Swim team, and square dancing were part of his many activities. Steve was a Deputy Sheriff in Dona Ana County for five years. He was also a thirty-second degree Mason and a member of Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple. Steve's favorite past time was flying his hot air balloon "Crickets Dream". He flew in the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta for many years. On the weekends you would likely see him flying his red, white, and blue balloon in Las Cruces or in Albuquerque. If he was not flying his balloon you might find him touring the countryside with Jenny on his Harley. He participated in many events with the Thunderbird HOG Chapter. In the summer, you would find Steve and Jenny at Elephant Butte Lake cruising around on their pontoon boat frequently hanging out with friends and family. Steve loved to travel and his favorite vacations were cruising the Caribbean with his family. He loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren as often as he could. GUTIERREZ -- Orlando Ray Gutierrez was born on March 27, 1960. He died in his sleep on Nov. 7, 2007, after a chronic illness. He was a great son and loving brother, an uncle, a brother-in-law and friend to many. He is survived by his parents, S.E. and Lucille Gutierrez of Magdalena, by his twin brother, Carl Gutierrez of Billings, Montana, and by brothers, Paul and Gerald of Albuquerque and Magdalena; and by sisters, Lynette Gutierrez, and Julie Valdez, wife of Brian Valdez, all of Albuquerque; by Mike, Crystal, Brandon and Isabella Herrera of Albuquerque. He is also survived by numerous loving cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. Orlando was a very giving and caring person who would help anyone in need. HEINE -- Jack Heine age 74, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on November 11, 2007. He was born in Macomb, Illinois. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Rupert Plumbing in Albuquerque. He enjoyed geneology, gardening, computers, and was a cat lover. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Reed and stepfather, Harold Reed. He is survived by his son, James L. Heine of Los Lunas, NM; his daughter, Christine Miars of Bosque Farms, NM; half sister, Judith Julis of Deleware; grandson, Toby Heine of Hawaii; granddaughter, Jerry Anders of Indiana; great-grandchildren Stefanie Miars, Kelsey Anders, Derrick and Devon, Cameron Anders and Eric Anders. HRUBIENSKI -- Edward "Red" Hrubienski Sr. passed away on November 10, 2007 at the age of 76. He was born on August 2, 1931 in Virginia. He was a resident of Albuquerque. Edward served in the United States Army as well as the Navy; he was also a member of American Legion post 69. HUGHES -- Robert A. Hughes, 70, a beloved husband, amazing father, loving grandfather, devoted son and brother passed away on Tuesday November 13, 2007 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lois Hughes of the family home; his daughters, Robyn McDonald and husband, Jeff of Lakeland, Fl. and Heather Schitoskey and husband, Kevin of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Levi, and Megan. Bob is also survived by his father, Lloyd Hughes; sisters, Barbara Hughes and Carolyn Hughes all of Albuquerque. He is preceded in death by mother, Esther Hughes. Bob enjoyed many years as a Systems Analyst for the Albuquerque Police Department, while he volunteered for the NM State Police Mounted Patrol, the Bernalillo County Fire Department, and the Bernalillo County High Angle Rescue Team. He had many hobbies, but he particularly excelled at painting. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. JACOBS -- Jerry Jacobs, 66, a resident of Albuquerque for over 40 years, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Debra Edingfield; two daughters, Julie MacCluskey and husband, Joel, of Englewood, CO, and Jennifer Nelson and husband, Andy, of Centennial, CO; granddaughters, Haley and Abby Nelson; step-daughters, Erin Atkin and husband, Matt, of Yelm, WA and Erica Engelhardt of Oceanside, CA; mother, Ina Mae Jacobs of McKinney, TX; brother, Joe Jacobs and wife, Kathy, of Dallas, TX; sister, Jan Harris and husband, Jed of McKinney, TX; and numerous other relatives and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Paul Jacobs. He was born on July 28, 1941 in Eunice, LA. Jerry graduated from high school in Ozona, TX and received his Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from UNM. He was the owner of Pill Box Pharmacy in Albuquerque. Jerry was involved in numerous productions with ACLOA, Opera Southwest, the New Mexicords, Quintessence and Fanfare. He was also very active in his church and church choir at St. Michael's Episcopal Church and also sang in the choir at Monte Vista Christian Church. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. MAEZ -- Cruz Maez passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 in Albuquerque at the age of 70. Mr. Maez served in the United States Air Force and had the proud honor of escorting President Eisenhower while serving as an Air Force Policeman in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Bacilio David Maez, Henry Maez, Irene Massengill and husband, Marshall, Priscilla Payan and husband, Pedro, Virginia Padilla, Helen Narvaiz and husband, Bobby, Arthur Maez and wife, Patsy, and Eva Maez; children, Lori Maez, Nadine Maez, David Maez, and Annette Maez; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. An evening Service for Mr. Maez will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. also at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. PARKS -- Rex D. Parks, 81, of Albuquerque, passed away November 6, 2007, after a prolonged illness. The youngest of ten children born to Julius and Belva Parks of Coldwater, KS. He was raised on a small farm before serving in the Army during WWII. Rex moved to Albuquerque in 1955 where he lived much of his life, raising two sons and two daughters. He also lived in southern California for over twenty years and spent five years in Seattle, WA, where he made his living as an accountant and independant tax consultant. In 1998, he returned to Albuquerque where he retired a few years ago. Rex is survived by his wife, Mary; his eldest son, Roger Parks of Dallas,TX.;two daughters, Debbie Summerbell and her husband, Gary; and Kathy Parks of Albuquerque; two step-daughters, Chandra Gebelin and her husband, Dan, of Fullerton, CA; and Lisa Grueter and her husband, Mike, of Seattle, WA; grandsons, Joshua Parks and his wife, Susan; Cedric Summerbell and his wife, Kelli, of Albuquerque; Kevin Summerbell and his wife, Rae, of Seattle, WA; Andrew Grueter of Seattle, WA; and Kyle and Jeffrey Gebelin, of Fullerton, CA; great-grandaughters, Tessa and Ashley Summerbell, of Albuquerque; and great-grandson, Logan Parks of Albuquerque. SIERRA -- Johnny Ray Sierra, 55, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007. Johnny was born in Tucumcari. He joined the Marines in 1970 and went to Vietnam. SISKA -- Patricia W. Siska, 75, passed away on, Friday, November 9, 2007. Pat, the third child of Jim and Callie Wert, was born February 20, 1932 in Covington, Kentucky. They lived in a home bordering farm land and woods with several lakes. Pat played softball in the summer and ice skated in the winter. She always loved scenic areas--woods, mountains and the ocean. Pat attended Eastern Kentucky College in Richmond, Kentucky and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1953. She taught school for a couple of years and also did some secretarial work. Pat married Norb on June 1, 1957 and moved to Albuquerque in 1960 when he was employed by Sandia Labs. They have two children, Scott and Steve, who also reside in Albuquerque. Pat was happy being a stay-at-home mother while raising the children. Pat was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, an avid bridge player, and an animal lover. She felt very blessed to have had a solid marriage for 50 years with a close knit family and to have an active part in her grandchildren's lives. Her grandchildren are Tyler, Sami, Jerred and Marshall. A Memorial Service will be held, on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Road NE.
