ARCHIBEQUE -- Ernest Archibeque born on July 14, 1917 of Old Town, Albuquerque went into the arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Ernest was the most loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a happy soul who always had a smile on his face, a funny joke to share and a great story to tell. He never complained, not even in his last days . . . he would always say "I am muy bien". Ernest had a rare ability to make anyone he met a quick friend. The warmth and kindness of his heart touched everyone who knew him. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Ernest served our country in the Chinese Burma India Theater in WWII for five years and was a member of Post 13 A.L. Ernest was preceded in death by his son, Ernie Patricio Archibeque; his mother and father, Agatha Archibeque and Miguel Archibeque; his sisters, Mary Sawtelle, Carolyn Smith, and Virginia Archibeque; and his brothers, Manuel Archibeque, George Archibeque, and Miguel Archibeque Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Genevieve Archibeque; his loving grandsons, Isaac and Adrian Archibeque; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Patricia Archibeque; sister, Ramona Everett and husband Bob of Kingsville, TX; sister-in-law, DeeDee Archibeque; loving nieces, Anita Casale, Teresa Caldwell, Yvonne Starr; and many nieces and nephews, also Deborah Archibeque and Robin Christian. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 with time and place to be announced at a later time. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October, 4, 2007 with time and place to be announced at a later time. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kent Starr, Patrick Caldwell, Lawrence Everett, Robert Everett, Anthony Garcia, Shawn Mondragon, and Tony Casale. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Everett and Marlo Sandoval. A special thank you to Vista Sandia Hospice, Gerard and Gloria. We love you and we will miss you always. Forever you will be with us in our hearts. We look forward to the day when we are once again together in heaven with you, our beloved husband and grandfather. BRENNAND -- Sue Ann "Mimi" Brennand of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2007, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born to Loubert and Fay Moyers in Dallas, TX. Mrs. Brennand was a retired school teacher of 25 years having taught in Dallas, TX and Santa Fe, NM. She attended The University of Texas in Austin, and received her Master's Degree from S.M.U in Dallas. She was highly involved in the Chi Omega Sorority/Alumni during the '60s and '70s, along with the Highland Park PTA. She was member of St. Mark's On the Mesa Episcopal Church and a former member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, where she was involved with the Altar Guild. She was an active volunteer with the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and was instrumental in implementing "The Sunshine Bags", as well as a volunteer at Kaseman Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Paul; her children, Amy Martinez and her husband, Vince of Albuquerque, Kevin Green and his wife, Cynthia of Dallas, TX; step-children, Aimee Gagnon and her husband, Rob of Littleton, CO, Jill Hume and her husband, Ryan of Phoenix, AZ, Molly Brennand of Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren, William, Megan, Ashley, and Natalie of Albuquerque, Ben, Jenna and Caroline of Dallas, TX; step-grandchildren, Hannah, Charlotte, Grace, and Davis of Phoenix, AZ; her brother, Reese Moyers and his wife, Julie of Fort Worth, TX; several brothers, and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 4, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Mark's On the Mesa Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends and relatives may meet with the family Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. EASTWOOD -- Joseph Eastwood, 86, of Sandia Park, NM, went home to be with our Lord on September 29, 2007. Joseph was born on February 15, 1921, in Lowell, MA, to Frank and Elizabeth Hannah Eastwood. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace Loveland Eastwood; three children, Joanne Willett and husband, Frank, of Morris, OK, Matthew Eastwood and wife, Ramona, of Albuquerque, NM, and Nancy Eastwood of Walla Walla, WA; 11 grandchildren, Lisa, Frank Jr., Emile Jr., Mark, Jennifer, Joseph, Sarah, Christopher, Raina, Daniel, and Lincoln; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Moore of Hiddenite, NC; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and loving friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth; one daughter, Susan Elizabeth Eastwood; one son, Frank Andrew Eastwood; and his twin brother, Frank Eastwood Jr. Joe was a kind, loving, compassionate man, who was always willing to help where he saw a need- he never met a stranger. Most knew him by his collection of hat pins and his carved pipe and beard. Joseph served for the United States Army/Air Force, in WWII, from January 1942- January 1946, stationed in Burma, India. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with a Graveside Service at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Joshua's Vineyard, at the corner of Zuni Ave and Dallas, in Albuquerque, NM, on Sunday, October 7, 2007. FEDERICO -- Philip "Phil" Joseph Federico, 59, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Saturday, September 29, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Yoneko Federico; two children, Jeff Federico of Renton, WA and Shelley Lange and husband, Mike of Edgewood, WA; sisters, MaryAnn Stetter and husband, Michael and Donna Schirching and husband, Richard, all of Buffalo, NY; four step-children, Jeff, Jen, Jay, and Joy; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Phil was born on November 14, 1947 in Buffalo, NY to Daniel and Elizabeth Viapiano Federico. He received his Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT and worked at Sandia National Labs for 25 years. Phil served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid golfer, playing at numerous courses throughout the United States. Phil was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. GALATOLO -- Paula J. Galatolo, (July 1, 1924-September 28, 2007) On Friday evening, September 28, 2007 Paula J. Galatolo was reunited in Heaven with her mother and father, Thereasa and Stephen Kshimetski and her two brothers, Joe and John. Paula passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Paula, who was raised in New York, was a 30 year resident of Rio Rancho. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. This loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Matriarch will be greatly missed by the family that was her whole life. They include: her husband Alistro Galatolo, three children, daughter, Terry Dowdican, daughter, Maryann Folino and son, A. Roy Folino; 13 grandchildren, Christine and Craig Benedetto, Anita and Terry Harwood, Sandra and Brian Davison, Dianna and Christopher Montrose, Richard and Michelle Dowdican, David and Jennifer Dowdican, Richrad Lipari, Jr. Jason Dowdican, Joseph Lipari, Heather Dowdican and Jenny, Julie, and Andy Folino; 14 great-grandchildren, Richie, Joshua, Brianne, Ashley, Amanda, Zachary, Joey, Niki, Jessica, Amber, KateLynn, Trevor, Luke, and Silas. Thank you to all those involved in Paula's much-needed care over the past couple of years, with a special note of gratitude to her grandson Richard Lipari for devoting the last 11/2 years to being her loving caretaker. HAYES -- Eleanore Lee Hayes, 78, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Deanna Sevier and husband, Sam, Debbie Rush and husband, Jim, and Donna Rawls and husband, Jay; grandchildren, Tommy Rush, Jeremy Sevier and wife, Shannon, Samantha Sevier, Amy Lorimer and husband, Josh, and Justin Rawls and wife, Jamie; great-grandchildren, Noah Lorimer, Aden Lorimer, and Kayleigh Rawls; sisters, Winnie Leary and Susan Lee; brothers, Charles Snyder and Don Snyder; and other relatives and friends. Lee came to Albuquerque in 1957 and her career included managing insurance departments for Fireman's Fund, Clinton P. Anderson and Alexander and Alexander. She loved reading, cross stitch, quilting, and crocheting which she was proficient at. Lee was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Service to celebrate Lee's life will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with cremation to follow.
