And the world would be like heaven, If we could have you back again. A light from our household gone, A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home, That never can be filled. May the god of love and mercy Care for our loved one who is gone, And bless with consolation, Those left to carry on. The happy hours we once enjoyed, How sweet their memory still. But death has left a vacant place, This world can never fill. How dearly we loved you, And prayed you might live, But Jesus just beckoned, And we had to give. God gave us the strength to bear it, And courage to fight the blow, What it meant to lose you, God alone will ever know Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque 225 San Mateo NE 505-764-9663

MANNING -- A. Ralph Manning "The 50 Gallon Man" July 24 1920 - September 19, 2004 Dad, It's been a year since you answered God's calling, but it seems like only yesterday when we were last together. I wish that we could have spent more time together, but I'm grateful for those brief times we had. Although you've left this world, you are still here with me, in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Your life has touched and helped so many persons, both through your actions and deeds; it was easy to see what God's mission for you was. I was proud to be your son! I thank God for bringing Joy, Carl, Tina, Nina, Lisa and Consuelo into your life and bringing you happiness, as they are truly the most kind and loving family one could ever hope to know. I miss you, Dad. I hope that you really knew how much I love you. My heart aches that you are gone, but I look forward to the time when we all can be together again. My Eternal Love, Scott P.S. To the People of Albuquerque, Thank you for making my Dad so much a part of Albuquerque. I know he cherished all of the friendships that you provided him. And thank you for helping him achieve his goal of donating 50 gallons of blood, as this meant so much to him. If you can, please remember him and donate another pint in his honor, so that he, once again, can help another person in need.
