ARAGON -- Mrs. Lourdine Aragon, 62, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 4, 2004. Mrs. Aragon is survived by her loving children, Sara Aragon, Daniel Aragon, Chris Aragon and Michael Aragon. Mrs. Aragon is also survived by three grandchildren, Anthony, Sabrina and Cipriana; three sisters, Edwina Trujillo and husband, Lalo, Beatrice Medina and Mary Ann Gingell; two brothers, George Lopez and wife, Inga, Michael Lopez and wife, Linda; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Aragon was a member of the Catholic Church. A viewing for Mrs. Aragon will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final viewing for Mrs. Aragon will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont Ave. N.E. with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated st 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be, Steven Medina, Daniel Aragon, Chris Aragon, Michael Aragon, Anthony Aragon and Alex Medina. CARISTO -- Mr. Nicholas Caristo Jr., 72, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 3, 2004. Mr. Caristo is the beloved husband to Mrs. Josephine Caristo, married for 54 years. Mr. Caristo is also survived by his loving children, Nick Caristo and wife, Ellen, Domenic Caristo and wife, Monica, Anna Marie Roybal and husband, Paul, Madeline Frostenson and husband, Paul. Mr. Caristo is also survived by one sister, Josephine Contervo; two brothers, Domenic Caristo and wife, Marge and Gabe Caristo; seven grandchildren; Nicole, Natalie, Josh, Lisa, Jo, Neal and Madeline; five great grandchildren, Anthony, Raquel, Jonathan, Marina, Lijah; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Caristo was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Bernadette and two brothers. Mr. Caristo was a member of the Catholic Church. DYKES -- David A. Dykes "Grandpa" was born July 4, 1927 and passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2004 at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his father, David Abney Dkyes; his mother, Bernice Odell; and his sister, Billy Jean Sparks. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jo; his children, David A. Dykes III and wife, Patty, Debbie Lanford and husband, John and Diane Broadwell and husband, Brad; seven grandchildren, Dawn Apodaca and husband, Jason, Deanne Dykes, David A Dykes IV and wife, Stephanie, Joseph Stuart, Jaime Sanchez and husband, Joshua, Kimberly Dennis and Dee Dennis III; and six great-grandchildren, Christopher and Chance Apodaca, Charles Gallegos, and David, Brandon and Hannah Dykes. He served in the Pacific Theater during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a member of IBEW Local 611 for 50 years. He never knew a stranger, was loved by those he touched and through his example, he has shown us all the importance of family, love and devotion. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution NE. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. GALLAGHER -- Charles W. -- A resident of Paradise Hills and Rio Rancho and Member of St. Thomas Parish passed away Friday in Connecticut at the age of 92. He lived in New Mexico from 1972 until August 2004. The World War II and Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran is survived by his beloved wife Mary "Kay" Gallagher; one daughter Regina McGowan of Cheshire, Ct.; three sons: John and his wife Pauline of Bath, Me., Michael and his wife Rebecca of Rio Rancho and Timothy and his wife Cheryl of Somis, Calif.. He was preceeded in death by his loving son Charles of Rio Rancho. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and on great grandson. Before moving to New Mexico to enjoy his retirement Charles worked at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn N.Y. and at the U.S. Navy Applied Sciences Laboratory. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Cheshire on Monday morning at St. Thomas Beckett Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Karen Taul and husband, Edd of Mountainair, NM; son, Jerry Robert Gilcrease of Albuquerque; son-in-law, Walter Floyd of California; 8 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Robert Elijah (Buck) Gilcrease, her daughter, Peggy Jean Floyd, her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. LADEWIG -- Marsha Carroll Ladewig passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2004. She is survived by her two sons, Dustyn, and wife, Kim Crismore Ladewig and Kevin Ladewig; mother Allene Smith; sisters Celia Hulett, Karen Simpson and Freda Reust, all of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews and her dog, Patches. She was preceded in death by her father, R. D. Smith; sister, Joyce Walker and brother, Bobby Smith. Marsha was born Friday, September 29, 1944 in Santa Fe, NM to R.D. and Allene Morton Smith. She was a licensed financial broker and at one time a flight attendant with Frontier Airlines. She was a talented decorator and craftsperson winning many ribbons at the New Mexico State Fair. She enjoyed fishing and flower gardening. Services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2004, 10:00 am, at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. ROYAL -- Frances (Perea) Royal went to her heavenly home to meet Jesus on Saturday, December 4, 2004. She was the 8th child of Donaciano and Carmen Perea. Frances is survived by her son Dr. Michael Suminski of Jonesboro, AR and stepsons and daughter: Paul and wife Corrina Royal, Linda and husband Steve Denney, Stephen Royal, Geoffrey Royal, Kevin Royal all of England and Sister-in-law, Sandra Hall; Sisters and brothers: Joe and Louisa Perea, Nellie Perea, Clarence Perea, Prudencia and Ramon Mondragon, Beatrice and Tony Aragon, Palmira Perea-Hay and Steve Hay, all of Albuquerque. Also surviving are 13 step grandchildren all of England and many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. Frances will be remembered for her love towards her loved ones and her patient acceptance of her illnesses. She will be missed by all who knew her but we are grateful we had her for 58 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Royal, two sisters Rosa and Lillie, one brother Dan Perea and her parents Donaciano and Carmen Perea. A Rosary and Vigil service will be held 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2004 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. Mass of Celebration of Life will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2004 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Place SE. Private Family Burial will take place at a later date. WILSON -- William Charles Wilson, born 3 July 1928 to James L. & Lily Wilson in Cass County, Illinois. He had three brothers and two sisters. He was in the Air Force 1950-1954 in the Korean War. Graduated from DeVry Institute in Chicago and went to work for Sandia Labs in 1957 - retired 31 years later. As a Field Engineer he worked at many test sites, including Carlsbad, Nevada, Oak Ridge, Wyoming, and Hawaii. He had two children from his first marriage - Steven C. Wilson and Susan Lynn Caskey - both of Albuquerque, NM. His wife of 27 years, Katheryn Wilson, was with him when he died in El Paso, Texas on November 30, 2004. He will be sorely missed by his longtime friend, Jim Burns of Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill loved spending time at his place near Cuba, NM. Hope you're there, Bill, enjoying the wind in the pines and aspens.
