BRADSHAW -- Robert "Bob" Bradshaw, age 77 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1990, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat; daughters, Kate Bradshaw and Deborah Bradshaw; and granddaughter, Alexis Bradshaw Robison, all of Albuquerque. Bob was born in Estancia Valley, the only child of Robert and Lucy Bradshaw. After serving in the US Navy, he graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in electrical engineering. Bob retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory after 30 years of service. He spent recent years with his family and was an avid supporter of UNM academics and athletics, a fisherman, a horseman, and a doting grandfather. Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Reception will follow in the Westside -Chapel Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Public Academy of Performing Arts, where Bob's granddaughter attends high school, 4665 Indian School Rd. BUNKER -- Jeanne Loughlin Bunker, 81, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, September 9, 2004. She is survived by her children, Nancy J. Watts and husband, Tom of Pagosa Springs, CO; Kevin R. Bunker and wife, Debra of Parker, CO; Margaret J. Dorneden of Albuquerque; NM; grandchildren, Estevan Bunker, Rebecca Bunker, and Ashley Dorneden; step-grandsons, Ben and Sam Watts; sisters, Margaret Loughlin McGrane of Dunedin, FL and Eileen Heninger of Destin, FL; brother, Joseph T. Loughlin and Carol Baffa of Huntly, IL; close friend, Carol Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Joseph and Margaret Loughlin; former husband, Lt. Col. Robert A. Bunker, USAF (Ret.); brothers-in-law, Joseph McGrane and Ben Heninger; and son-in-law, John F. Dorneden III. Jeanne served her country as a Captain in the USAF Nursing Corp during the Korean conflict era. She was a Registered Nurse with the Public Health Department in New Mexico and other states. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Jeanne's family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the nurses, therapists and doctors from Presbyterian in ICU South and Kaseman Presbyterian Hospitals. A rosary will be recited Sunday, September 12, 2004, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. CANO -- Florella Gonzales Cano, 79, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2004. She was born on December 24, 1924 in Peralta, NM. Mrs. Cano is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Crystal Trujillo. She is survived by her son, Salomon Trujillo and wife, Erline; her daughters, Cora Trujillo and Dorothy Trujillo and husband, Ruben; brother, Severo Gonzales and wife, Betty; sister, Clara Trujillo and husband, Rudy; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Florella will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. also in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Burial will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. CHENOWETH -- William Burrel Chenoweth, 86, born in Tulsa, OK on October 7, 1917 ascended into Heaven peacefully on Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2004 to be with his Lord and Savior, who he served all his life, following a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer's. He was a long time resident of New Mexico since coming here from Tulsa in 1948 with his beautiful bride, JoAn and eldest daughter, Marilu. They had no money and no place to live, but they did have their faith in God and He saw them through. "Burrel" was the loving husband of JoAn, his soul mate of 66 years. He was a devoted father of two daughters, Marilu Flaherty, Becky Gonzales and her husband Ray. And one son, Don Lee Chenoweth. He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren, who all fondly knew him as Dadah. Dwayne Flaherty, Becky Lou Biddle and husband David, Vicki Lynn Garcia and husband John. Tami Howes and husband, David, Danny Gonzales and wife Lea. JoAnna Marie Gonzales, his youngest granddaughter who spent the last three years caring for her ailing grandfather. He was the loving great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren. Robert, Stacey, Willy and Thomas Flaherty, Wesley and Meagan Biddle, Jacob and Johnathon Garcia, Hailey and Joshua Howes, and Alicia Gonzales. Along with many numerous nieces and nephews. Burrel worked as a Machinist of General Electric for 30 years. And retired in 1984. He was a long time Elder of The Lighthouse of New Mexico fondly known as Brother Burrel. He received the Sunshine Award for his faithful dedication to the hospital visitation Ministry. Burrel was a generous man who often gave the shirt off his back to anyone in need and never expected anything in return. His kind and loving heart will be greatly missed by not only his family but all of those whose lives he touched. May you rest in peace our loving brother in Christ. It's not good bye, it's until we meet again. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on September 13, 2004 at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE Albuquerque, NM 87108. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Charities.

DISCO -- Alexander Henry Disco III, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died early Wednesday, September 8, 2004. He is survived by his sons, Gary Disco and wife, Michel, Alex Van Disco and wife, Susan; granddaughter, Desiree Disco, all of Albuquerque. Mr. Disco owned and operated "Disco Display House" for many years here in Albuquerque. He was a member of the Elks Club, the Shriner's Royal Order of Jesters, Mason's and the Albuquerque Country Club. DVORACK -- Catherine L. "Lois" Dvorack, 75, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Albuquerque Regional Medical Center, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Ford City, PA on August 8, 1929 to Katherine and Louis Nycz, and was raised in Rossford, OH. She attended Rossford High School and married Albert Dvorack in April 1947, becoming a homemaker and raising two sons just north of Haskins, OH. Catherine was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Rossford, OH and later became a parishioner at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green, OH. In October 2000, she and her husband went to Albuquerque, NM to live with her son, Michael, in order to help care for her husband. After Albert's death in March 2002, Catherine remained with her son in Albuquerque and became a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Michael Dvorack of Albuquerque, and John Dvorack and wife, Doris of Toledo, OH; and granddaughter, Jennifer Bowers of Elida, OH. Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 12, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, 1837 Alvarado NE, with Father Christopher Zugger reciting. ESPINOSA -- Ronnie G. RONNIE G. HERRERA -- Raul "Dr. H" Herrera, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Haydee Herrera; children, Marcia Yoos and husband, Mark, Mike Herrera, Heidi Herrera, Raoul Herrera and wife, Ruby, and Marisol Herrera; grandchildren, Samantha, RJ, Neil, and Stephen; and sister, Marta Serrano. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dr. Herrera was always willing to put his family first. He came to the United States from Cuba in 1960 and was proud to become a US Citizen in 1970. He received his PhD in law from the University of Havana before coming to the USA. Dr. Herrera received his Masters Degree in Library Science at the U. of Kansas/Emporia and later was Director of Library Sciences at NM Highlands for 20 years. After retiring in 1992, he sold real estate. Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2004, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. HINDI -- Ednen Hindi passed away peacefully in Albuquerque on September 5, 2004 at the age of 81. Born on April 4, 1923, he grew up on the family's sheep, cattle, and horse ranch in Torrance County and attended school in Duran, NM. Ednen attended high school and college at New Mexico Military Institute, where he excelled in academics and was an accomplished athlete, and graduated in 1943. He subsequently served in the US Army from 1943 to 1952. As a lieutenant platoon commander in the First Armored Division, he served in Europe during WWII, earning the Bronze Star. He was stationed in Texas during the Korean War, at which time he was promoted to Captain. He married Billie Ray Smith from Floydada, TX, in 1948. After leaving the military, they lived on the ranch and raised 3 children. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Vaughn. He enjoyed hunting and photography, and was an avid horseman, inventive rancher, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ed was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at an early age. Through the many years of his illness, he never lost his love of life or sense of humor. Even as his illness progressed, he continued to use his abilities for weaving, pottery making, and other creative artwork. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clarita Duran (1973), from Duran and Alex Hindi (1974), who immigrated to the US from Zahle, Lebanon in 1908; his wife, Billie Ray Smith (1989), his eldest son, Ednen Alex (2001); and his sister, Hafiza (Tony) Gallegos (2000). He is survived by his son, Robert D. Hindi, M. D. of San Francisco; daughter, Sarah Hindi and Maureen Eckroth of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Ednen William, Khara Rose, Amarah Kay, Jhad Alex, all of Albuquerque; his sister, Samia (Harry) Doro, and brothers, Brahaim (Susie Garde), Sam (Amelia Vicente), Shafie (Emma Budagher), and Nabay (Vivian Tapia); 22 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins, great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews. The family would like to sincerely thank the numerous caregivers for their care and support over the past several years, particularly the physicians, nurses, and hospital staff at the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2004, 11:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. A catered reception will follow. TAFOYA -- Tommy Tommy Tafoya September 11, 1992 Again it is that time of year - 12 long years ago; sometimes it seems like yesterday. The kids & grandkids are doing well! Fernando is now living with Gerald & Mary Trinnie. It's been a challenge. Tomas is in the fourth grade & is a very good student. Tatiana is 7 years old and is in second grade; she now informs us that she is marrying a millionaire. Gerald Paul started kindergarten and was ready for school; he's been playing his accordion with his pappa at church. Evangelee is now four years old and is going to Pre-school; she is quite the chatter box. Then there is Samantha; she is the newest, 5 1/2 months old. She is beautiful and a good baby. We MISS YOU very much; I'm always sad that you didn't get to know your grandchildren. TRUJILLO -- Celes S. Trujillo "Uncle Butch" age 67, went home to the Lord, Tuesday, September 7, 2004. A lifetime resident of Bernalillo, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Robert "Bobby" Quiroz. He is survived by his sister, Marie Padilla and husband, Ray of San Antonio, TX; brother, Alex Trujillo of Albuquerque; sister, Dora Gutierrez of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Dan Montano; many nephews, nieces, other family, and friends. Celes will always be in our hearts and prayers and we will miss him deeply. Memorial services will be held at the First Assembly of God in Bernalillo, NM. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m Monday, September 13, 2004. WIEST -- David A. Wiest, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004. David was born in Reading, PA on September 24, 1920 to the late Emma and Luther Wiest. He is survived by his wife, Opal; his two sons, Randy Wiest and his wife, Linda, Paul Wiest and his wife, Rose; three granddaughters, Michelle Brannan and husband, Leo, Kimberly Wiest-Sanchez and husband, Calvin Sanchez, and Pamela Wiest; one grandson, Joshua Wiest; along with one great-grandson, Dylan Wiest-Sanchez; and Opal's daughter, Rita Duazat. Mr. Wiest came to New Mexico with the U.S. Army in 1944 and eventually settled here and married Mary Jean Steidley. He worked for and later owned the Steidley Insurance Agency in Albuquerque. After 50 years, he retired in November, 2002 when his health wouldn't allow him to work any longer. Mr. Wiest was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and later of Central United Methodist Church. He was a board member of the Albuquerque Rescue Mission for over 20 years. Mr. Wiest was a member of the Ballut Abyad Temple and the Hiram Lodge #13. His hobbies included antique cars, photography and many types of collectibles. Services will be held Tuesday, September 14th, at 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
