Brackeen -- Thomas Brackeen II, 58, was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Thomas passed away Saturday, August 9, 2003. He is survived by his wife Nina Brackeen: sons, Thomas, and John; daughter, Sonia; five grandchildren; mother, Gladys Brackeen; two brothers and one sister; other family members and friends. A Candlelight Vigil will be held at the south corner of Oak Street and Richardson in Bernalillo, on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at Our Lady Of Sorrows Community Center, also in Bernalillo. Crespin -- Manuel C. Crespin, a lifelong resident of Cuba, New Mexico, passed from this earth intothe peaceful arms of god on August 14, 2003. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ermenia (Minnie) Crespin; son, Teodoro (Ted) Crespin. Manuel is survived by his three sons, Marcellino and wife, Estella, Uvaldo (Walter) and wife, Loretta, Pablo (Paul) and wife, Rita; five daughters, Alicia (Alice) Aguilar and husband, Filimon, Viola Salas, Shonie Lindeman and husband, Steve, Maria (Ethel) Pettit, Dorothy Danska; 24 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren; sister, Dolores Casaus; sister in law, Betty Crespin and many nieces and nephews. Service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Assembly of God Church in Cuba, NM with Pastor Antonio Soto, officiating. Evening service will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel. Cremation will take place and a private burial will be held in the family cemetery. Eissele -- Dorothy Bryce Eissele, 99, passed away peacefully at her home on August 1, 2003, with her children by her side. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1903, Dorothy had been a New Mexico resident for 50 years. She is survived by her daughter, Susan and husband Roger Enfield; two sons, Stephen and wife Sabine and Peter and wife Mary Lou; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Herbert. A loving and devoted mother and wife, Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Foreman -- Ronald"Ronnie" Foreman, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Saturday, August 9, 2003. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Robert Foreman and wife, Elaine of Albuquerque and Dennis Foreman and wife, Kara of Richland, WA; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Foreman; and brothers, Earl and Everett Foreman. Mr. Foreman worked as a Design and Aeronautical Engineer for Aerco Research Corporation and the Hanford Nuclear Facility. During World War II, Mr. Foreman was a Propeller Engineer in the Carribean for the military. His design of the Aerocoup plane hangs in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Rey Vejil officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Foreman, Dennis Foreman, David Orwat, Keith Orwat, Brett Foreman and Jordan Foreman. Mendoza -- Frank T. Mendoza, 72, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2003. He was born December 7, 1931 in Pinos Altos, NM. He was the son of Frank and Ramona Mendoza of Silver City, NM. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, a Purple Heart Recipient. He is survived by his son, Frank M. Mendoza III and wife, Becky. He is also survived by two daughters, Debbie Lerma and husband, Leonard; Kimberly Padilla and husband, Ralph; and a fiance, Cathy Sandoval. Mr. Mendoza had nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Michael and Marie; and two step-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Edward and Alfredo; two sisters, Mary and Felicita. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Mendoza; and their daughter, Yvonne Varela; and his second wife, Theresa Mendoza. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Church with Burial Services taking place Monday, August 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Padilla -- Gertrudritas A. Padilla, 90, a lifelong resident of Jarales, NM, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on August 15, 2003. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was very active for many years with Jarales and Belen Senior Citizens Centers doing what ever needed to be done. She and her husband, Severo, whom passed away in 1973, raised their eight children in their hometown of Jarales. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Brijida Aragon; her sister, Frances Serna; and her brother, Juan Jose Aragon. Gertrudritas is survived by her eight children, Joe of Belen, Toby of Barstow, CA, Lovelia Jojola and her husband, Andy of Albuquerque, Aurelio"Al" and his wife, Dolores of Belen, Herman and his wife, Eloisa, of Belen, Virgie August and her husband, Tony, of Belen, Tomas of the family home in Jarales, NM, and Manuel Esquibel of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Frances of Xavier Catholic Church in Jarales with a rosary following at 6:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with interment following at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Sedillo -- Felicita"Fela" Sedillo, age 82, was born in Chilili, NM., October 26, 1920. She was a resident of Paloma Blanca and a former longtime resident of Martineztown. Fela passed away peacefully August 13, 2003. She is survived by her two daughters Martha Sedillo and Bertha Olguin and husband Anthony; grandchildren Amador, Gabriel, and Margo; great grandson Anthony Jr.; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at St. Therese Parish, 4th and Mildred NW. A Wake Service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2003. Stevens -- (Vearle) Dean Stevens, 62, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died Thursday, August 14, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Nancy J Stevens of Albuquerque; son, Robert A. Stevens and wife, Lisa, of New Jersey; daughter, Deborah Gray and husband, Robert of Albuquerque; mother, Ruby Steven of Texas; four grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Gray and Travis and Brandon Stevens; and brothers, Robert H. Stevens, Jr., Kenneth Stevens, and J.D. Stevens. He was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 18, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. Teran -- Efren Teran, Sr., 80, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2003. Efren was born June 18, 1923 in Torreon, Mexico, but spent most of his life in Cd. Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, TX. Efren spent his business career as a manager in the Department of Commerce and the Chamber of Tourism in the greater El Paso/Cd. Juarez area. He owned a travel agency and tour bus company, which afforded him the opportunity to travel throughout Mexico, and worked with dignitaries in both countries. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Estella; sons, Efren Kaleb and his partner, Kevin McCoy and Eric and his wife, Francine Garcia; and sister, Carmela Teran of Cd. Juarez, Mexico. The Terans moved from El Paso, TX to Veguita, NM in 1996 to enjoy their retirement on their ranch with their nine Arabian horses. He will be missed by his family, friends and all those who associated with him throughout his life. A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 16, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 601 Montano Rd NW, with The Rev. Brian C. Taylor, officiant. Vigil -- Angelica Saavedra Vigil was called to the Lord on August 13, 2003. Angie was born on September 14, 1918 in San Pedro, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nestor and Isabel Saavedra; and brothers, Juan, Julian and Manuel. Angie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lorenzo; daughter, Natti Gonzales and husband, Connie; grandchildren, Joseph, Jimmy, Felicia and James; great-grandchildren, Devon and Joshua. Angie was a courageous, patient and loving person who loved her family and her God. A Rosary will be held on Friday, August 15, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at the Albuquerque Bible Church, intersection of 4th and Montano. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 16, 2003 9:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE.
