Benavidez -- Joe D. Benavidez Sr. May 29-1938-August 28, 1999 I was waiting for so long, for a miracle to come, everyone told me to be strong, hold on, don't shed a tear. Through the darkness and good times, I knew I'd make it through, and the world thought I had it all, but I was waiting for you. Hush love, I see a light in the sky, oh it's almost blinding me, I can't believe I've been touched by an ANGEL with LOVE. Let the rain come down and wash away my tears, let it fill my soul and drown my fears. Let it shatter the walls for a new sun. Where it was dark, now there's light, where there was pain, now there's joy, where there was weakness I found my strength, all in the eyes of an ANGEL. A NEW DAY HAS COME!!! We Love and Miss You Dad! Joe Jr., Lisa, Joe Daniel III and Jon Marcus

Vigil -- David Martin Vigil June 3, 1969 - August 28, 1993When I got that phone call in the middle of the night our lives would forever be changed. Today, nine years later, it still seems so unreal. There are days when I think I see you driving down the street. I will never see you fall in love, never see you have children, never see you grow old. "I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine," God said,"for you to love the while he lives, and mourn for when he's dead. I cannot promise he will stay." Oh how I wish you could have stayed. David, I miss you so much, even when I dream of you I can't make you stay. Come visit me in my dreams, son. Love, Mom
