In 1951, Bill helped in organizing the Junior Chamber of Commerce and became the club's first president. In 1954, at the age of 29, Bill was elected the youngest Mayor in Farmington's history. Vigil -- Adelina Gonzales Vigil, 50, of Bosque Farms died on Saturday, April 27, 2002 as the result of a ranching accident. She was doing what she loved to do which was riding horseback. She attended school at the Bueyeros School, then transferred to Clayton Schools where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Albino Vigil. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1969. She attended nursing school in Amarillo, TX and worked for the NW Texas Hospital. She then moved to Los Lunas, NM and began work with Lovelace Medical Center where she worked for 26 years.
