Baker -- Ruth Baker, died Saturday the 21st of July, 2001 at Las Palomas Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross; and her sons, David and Ross Jr. She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to the Southwest in 1962. She resided in Deming, NM until 1968, when she moved to Tucson, AZ with her husband. In April of 2001, she moved to Albuquerque, following the death of her son to be closer to her daughter. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Leon-Cleland and husband, Mike; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother. She is now at home with her boys and will greatly be missed here on earth. She will be interred in Tucson, AZ where she will be laid to rest with her husband, and her sons. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Baker. (891-8200).

Barker -- Jason Michael Barker, born on April 28, 1978, died unexpectedly at his family's home on Wednesday, July 25, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Phyllis Barker of Albuquerque; sister, Theresa Feyerabend and husband, Greg; nephews, Joshua and Jeremiah Feyerabend; niece, Julia Feyerabend, all of Tulsa, OK; grandmother, Frances Isenhower; uncle, William Isenhower; grandparents, Wilma and Norman Barker; and uncle, Gary Barker, all of Albuquerque. Jason was a switchmen/conductor on the BNSF Railroad. He was a 1996 graduate of La Cueva High School. Services will be held Monday, July 30, 2001, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E., with Pastor Frank Malizzo, officiating. Betts -- William (Liam) Huntington Betts, 41, passed away at his home in Tijeras on Wednesday, July 25, 2001. He is survived by his loving wife, Becki; step-son, Josh and Elizabeth; mother, Phyllis; step-dad, Angelo; brothers, Wayne, Wesly and their wives and children; grandparents, Evelyn and Charles Schwartz; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Gladyce Marie; uncle, Wayne and aunt, Norma; his Calvary family; and many, many good friends. He was born and raised in Connecticut and came to Albuquerque in 1980, a place he loved and called home. A well known drummer around town, he played with Quarter Moon, Bobby Butherm, Know Name Band. He will be missed by all. Memorial Service will be held at East Mountain Calvary, 379 State Rd. 344 in Edgewood on Monday, July 30, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Psalms 25.

Briones -- Angels came on July 11, 2001 to take David Roland Jr. home."Little Boy" was a very special child born with physical and limited capabilities sent by God to Janette Annette Garcia Briones and David Roland Briones on May 19, 1973. David was born in Los Angeles and raised in Los Angeles, Austin, TX and Albuquerque. His grandparents, Louella and Trinidad Garcia nurtured and loved their oldest grandson very much. His grandmother, Ruth Briones who lives in Austin, TX loved her grandson, David very much. David had 16 aunts and uncles in the Briones family; three aunts and uncles in the Garcia family; and many cousins."Little Boy" loved to eat, play with his pets, go horseback riding, swim, listen to music and watch cartoons and nature programs on TV. He loved his brothers, Manuel, Frankie and Carlos. He enjoyed listening to his brothers talk about and play baseball and football. He will be dearly missed by his family. A Rosary will be recited Friday, July 27, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, 833 Arizona SE. Mass will be held Saturday, July 28, 2001, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, Father Thomas J. Mayefske.

Caldwell -- Margaret L. Caldwell, 77, went home to the Lord on July 22, 2001 in San Antonio, Texas. Margaret attended Albuquerque High School and was married in the month of April in 1944, her special hobby was bingo. Margaret was born in Albuquerque on April 2, 1924 to the late Nicholas and Lucia Lucero. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Barney Caldwell who passed away seven years ago. Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her stepbrother, Larry Lucero; sons, Ron Caldwell and wife, Mary Ann, Richard Caldwell and wife, Kathi, Ruben Caldwell, Robert Caldwell of New York, John Caldwell of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Bernadette McRoberts and friend, Mark Guerra of San Antonio, Texas; and 12 grandchildren. Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations for Mrs. Caldwell will be Friday July 27, 2001 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church with a Rosary to follow at 7:30 p.m. Final viewing will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Garcia Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Pedro Cemetery. Crawford -- Major John F. Crawford, USAF (Ret.), 68, a 28-year resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Crawford of Albuquerque; daughter, Molly Boyle and husband, John of Littleton, CO; sons, John F Crawford, Jr, and wife, Kit of Albuquerque and MSGT. William P. Crawford of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Jennifer and Paul of Littleton, CO; sister, Luella Popkin of Tucson, AZ; and numerous family members in the upstate New York area. Mr. Crawford retired from 20 years of military service and 15 years of service with Blue Cross of New Mexico and over 20 years of service as a local businessman and owner with his wife, Pat. He was greatly admired and a friend of all who met him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, July 30, 2001, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Lucero -- Julia Lucero, 95, a longtime resident of Bernalillo, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2001. Julia was born July 6, 1906 the daughter of Hilario and Natividad Cordova Lujan in Sabinoso, New Mexico. Jula was preceded in death by her husband Leonardo Lucero. She is survived by her children, Ray Lucero and wife Molly, Frank (Jose) Lucero and wife Carrie, Alonzo Lucero all of Bernalillo, NM; Richard Lucero and wife Martha of Hacienda Heights, CA; Josie Layva of Brea, CA; Beatrice Hernandez of Los Angeles, CA; and Step-daughter, Mary Duran of Bernalillo, NM; one sister, Mary Buelna of West Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Sam Lujan and wife Louise of Apple Valley, CA; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Friday, July 27, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Bernalillo. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Macdonald -- Allen Keith MacDonald, Jr., 56, rose up to Heaven on July 23, 2001. He was born October 15, 1944 in Callaway, Nebraska to Mary Joyce Massie-MacDonald and his father, Allen Keith MacDonald, Sr. He was a 18 year resident of Albuquerque. Allen loved life and his family to the fullest. He was a parishioner at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, he was a great supporter of the United Way & the Special Olympics. He loved the City of Albuquerque and the many people who passed through the Supermarkets that he managed over the many years with Safeway & Furrs. He loved to spend all of his spare time with his family whom he loved very much. Allen was from Denver, Colorado in the suburb of Lakewood. Allen received his bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and was a great supporter of the C.U. Buffalo's football team. He was a diehard Bronco football sports fan and an avid sponsor of the UNM Lobos Allen Honorally served in the U.S. Army from November 1965 to August 1968 with the 527th Military Intelligence Company/66th Military Intelligence Group in Washington, D.C. and in Germany. Allen was awarded the Army Commendation Medal during his military service. He graduated from the Berlitz School of Language in Washington D.C. where he studied German. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla MacDonald of the family home; three daughters, Michelle and Sonia MacDonald of the family home and Alexandra MacDonald of Las Cruces; son, Douglas MacDonald and wife, Claudine of Edmonds, WA; father, Allen K. MacDonald, Sr. of Lakewood, CO; sister, Janet Zajac-Spade of Woodland Park, CO; step-daughter, Carmen Morales; step-son, George Morales and wife, Monica, all of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Jared and Maija Morales; and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Joyce MacDonald. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Medina -- Clarencio Medina, 37, formerly of Albuquerque died, Monday, July 24, 2001 in Detroit, MI. Reichert -- Leo Walter Reichert, 72, passed away at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Albuquerque, NM on July 24, 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Lee Winnen and husband, Arthur, of Tooele, UT, Kathryn Reichert of Tempe, AZ and Patti Jo Luke and husband, Ted, of Colleyville, TX; grandchildren, Ryan Allen Luke, Scott Mitchell Luke, Joseph Reichert Winnen, David Kent Winnen, Lauren Erin Luke, Mary Ann Cannon and Amber Lynn Winnen; great-grandchild, Dallas Kole Cannon; brother, Stanley Reichert of Washington, PA; and sisters, Florence Gorby of Pittsburgh, PA and Genevieve McGlone of Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Reichert was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Paul and Regina Mosier Reichert and by a brother, Frank Reichert. He loved fishing and the outdoors. He had many fishing buddies. Seibert -- Anna Margaret Clifford Seibert, 83, of Fort Worth, TX died in a Fort Worth hospital on July 23, 2001. A Memorial Service was held at the Ridglea Presbyterian Church, Fort Worth, TX Thursday, July 26, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home of Mineral Wells, TX is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Coraopolis, PA, May 5, 1918. She was the daughter of John Edward Clifford and Mary Margaret Stout Clifford. She married Ralph Spurgeon Seibert Jr. on August 30, 1940 in Coraopolis, PA. She had lived in Fort Worth since 1995 and was a member of Ridglea Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Seibert was a home maker and was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband, Ralph Spurgeon Seibert Jr.; sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph Spurgeon Seibert III and Sue of Mineral Wells, TX, John Clifford Seibert of Nashville, TN; and daughter, Mary Lynn Seibert of Findlay, OH; granddaughters, and husbands, Katherine and Steven Krohn of Trophy Club, TX, Carolyn and Darrell Polston of Mineral Wells, TX, Christina and Brian Smith of Graham, TX; great-grandchildren, John, Joseph, Dainelle, Beth, Jennifer, Timothy, and Travis; sisters, Eleanor Wandelt of Wirtz, Virginia, and Virginia Truslow of San Antionio, TX; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shaeffer -- Gertrude "Trudy" Shaeffer, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956; a loving mother, grandmother and friend, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Barresi and husband, David of Albuquerque; son, Robert J. Shaeffer of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Charles Rowley and wife, Annabelle of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Tylden, Drewcilla, Stacey, Marcus and Rebecca; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Shaeffer in 1974. Trudy was a born-again Christian and worked for many years at Gibson's Discount Store. Shipe -- Francis Shipe, 84, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001 in her home in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jimmy Weddington. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Ochterbeck and husband, John of Las Vegas, NM; four grandchildren, Karen Lacey of Santa Fe, Linda Spiess of Albuquerque, David Spiess and wife, Janine of Albuquerque and Jay Ochterbeck and wife, Cynthia of Clemson, SC. She was very proud of her great-grandchildren, Rachel and Grant Lacey and Jayme Spiess. She was especially fond of cousins, Jeannine and Hap Maxwell and Jack and Feliz Fields. Francis moved to Albuquerque in 1990 after retiring from a career she adored as Director of Publication at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. During the 1950s, she lived in Las Vegas, NM. Francis had an alert and active mind until the very end of her life. She will be remembered and missed by her family and many friends. A Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2001 at the First Methodist Church in Las Vegas, NM with Rev. Mike Stahl officiating. Stuht -- Ronald Richard Stuht died July 21, 2001. He was born April 1, 1941 in Menomenie Falls, Wisconsin. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula; sons, Randall (Randi) Stuht, Richard (Angela) Stuht; and daughter, Cindy (Rodney) Lewis. His life is celebrated through his nine grandchildren; Kaylee Stuht, Christopher Stuht, Phillip Stuht, Matthew Armenta, Ashley Armenta, Danielle Stuht, Amber Stuht, Andre Lewis and Keith Lewis. Ron began a career with AT&T in 1964 in New Mexico. In 1976, he transferred to Mountain Bell where he worked until his retirement in 1986. From 1987 to 1991, he served as the Director of the Gilbert Arizona Chamber of Commerce. Later he moved to Tucson where he became the Governmental Affairs Director and Lobbyist for the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. In that final endeavor of his life as with all before, he worked diligently, accomplished much, and made many, many cherished friends. He lived his life with vigor and purpose. He was kind to those he met, and was a pillar of strength to those who loved him. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Saturday, July 28, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Donations can be made to Carondelet Hospice Services."We love you Dad, and we look forward to being in your care for eternity."
