Anderson -- Bill H. Anderson, 79, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord August 21, 2000. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Margaret Anderson; daughters, Jeaninne Anderson of Washington, and Sandy Latter and husband, Jerry of Belen; sons, Kelder Anderson and wife, Ada of Salem, OR, Danny Anderson and wife, Sharron of Eveningshade, AR, Russell Anderson of Los Lunas, Henry Anderson and wife, Doris of Belen; step-son, Frank T. Johnson of Tijeras, NM; step-daughters, Margaret Louis Murphy and husband, Flap of Bloomfield, NM, Dorothy Richard Johnson of Albuquerque; sister, Mildred Lermaseaux and family of Bernalillo; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his son, Mark Anderson. Bill was a member of the Elks Club, Lions Club, and a lifelong member of VFW, Post 401. He is a WWII Veteran, and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and was a Master Carpenter. He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, 9100 Menaul NE, with Pastor Harold T. Nilsson officiating. Barncastle -- Rose K. Barncastle, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, August 23, 2000. She is survived by her son, Victor Barncastle and wife, Barbara; four grandchildren, Wendy, Victor, Andrea and Phillip; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Joe Lopez and Fred Lopez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and a son, Kenneth. Prayer service will be held Friday, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Harry Beare officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon, Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.

Berger -- B. Irene Berger, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Sunday, August 13, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Evangeline J. O'Brien of Tijeras; son, John Berger and wife, Marilyn of Albuquerque; grandsons, Gene W. Boley and wife, Ann of Rio Rancho, John D. Berger, Jr. and wife, Rachelle of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Patricia Page and husband, Richard of Cedar Crest, Cheryl M. Tucker de Padilla and husband, Patrick of Tijeras, Debby Stephens and husband, Darrell of Texas; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Winslow Edwards in 1949 and John Fremont Berger in 1965; and son, Daniel W. Edwards, Jr. Mrs. Berger was born in New Hampshire. After moving to Albuquerque, she began working for Sandia Corporation, where she retired in 1979 as a research and development electronics technician. After retirement, Mrs. Berger enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing bridge. More than anything she loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains has been held at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2000, 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.

Bundy -- Nicki Lynn Bundy, 54, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Tuesday, August 22, 2000. Nicki is survived by her husband, Kenneth B. Bundy; sons, Justin Bundy and wife, Samantha of Augusta, GA, Jonathan Bundy, and David Bundy, both of Albuquerque; brother, Gary Voich of Hopedale, OH; two nieces and aunt, all of Hopedale, OH. She worked as a RN nurse for Presbyterian and for Kaseman in the ICU. She was a certified CPR (BLS Instructor) and also taught CPR classes. Raising her children was a top priority in her life. She was a member of the NM Nursing Association and St. Stephens United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2000, 2:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Burial will be celebrated at Hopedale Cemetery in Hopedale, Ohio on Monday, August 28, 2000. Friends may visit Thursday, August 24, 2000, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Muniz -- Teresita L. Muniz, 52, a resident of Albuquerque for 33 years, died Wednesday, August 23, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Victor H. Muniz of the family home; two sons, Victor Muniz Jr. and wife, Olivia of Rio Rancho and Timothy Muniz of the family home; two sisters, Carmen Romero and husband, Robert of Albuquerque and Inez Lovato and husband, Levi of Chamisal, NM; and brother, Antonio Quintana of Albuquerque. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Juse Thaddeus Catholic Church with Father John Conway, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Obenauf -- Carl L. Obenauf, 82, died Friday, August 18, 2000 from complications of diabetes. He was born April 24, 1918 in West Bethlehem, PA, the son of Mary Elizabeth Sullenberger and Rev. Henry Francis Obenauf. He graduated from Lawrence Park High School, Lawrence Park, PA. Following graduation from Wittenberg College, Springfield, OH in 1939, he spent the summer traveling in Germany on an exchange program. He worked at a settlement house in Chicago while earning a Master's degree in Social Work. He and his college sweetheart, Frances Ann Lawwill, were married on November 19, 1941. He entered the U.S. Army in 1943, and was back in Germany with the Army following WWII. After discharge in 1946, he returned to social work, working at settlement house in New Orleans, Chicago, and St. Louis. He later worked for the United Way (Shelby United Neighbors) in Memphis before coming to Albuquerque in 1968 as Executive Director of the Community Council of the United Way. He retired from the United Way in 1983. Ann Obenauf died in 1997. They had been active members of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral since 1968. Carl is survived by his son, Thomas Obenauf and wife, Gretchen Senter Obenauf of Albuquerque; daughter, Rebecca Martin and husband, Everett of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Richard and Elisabeth Obenauf of Albuquerque and John Martin and wife, Julia of Tempe; and brother, Frank Obenauf of Clearwater, FL. Service will be held Saturday, August 26, 1:00 p.m., at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver SW, the Rev. Canon Byron McDougall, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Endowment Fund of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver SW 87102 or to a social services charity of your choice. Olguin -- Ms. Annette Marie Olguin, 28, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 23, 2000 and is now one of God's Angels in Heaven. Annette was the beloved daughter of Esperanza and Arturo Garcia and Jose Andres Olguin. She is also survived by two sisters, Annabelle Gabaldon and husband, Valentine and Tracy Olguin and Louie Griego; one brother, Phillip Olguin and wife, Amie; grandparents, Alfredo and Dolores Montoya; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Annette was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., at San Clemente Catholic Church with visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Rick, Celebrant. Oliver -- Florence Oliver died peacefully at home in Rio Rancho, on August 20 following a brief illness. She was born as Florence Almira Damoth on September 14, 1907 in Reed City, Michigan. As a young adult, Florence lived most of her life in Denver, Colorado and then Santa Fe and even Espanola. She moved to Trail, Oregon in the early 1960s and stayed there until she returned to New Mexico with her daughter, Phyllis Brashar in 1994. While living in Trail, Oregon, Florence married her third husband and one true love, Ken Oliver in August of 1970. He died about a year later, but her time with Ken was said to have been the happiest of her long life. She was active in many local artist clubs and she became an accomplished painter. She loved to cook and for a few years in the late 1960s, she operated and ran a small cafe,"The Shack", near the Rogue River in Shady Cove, Oregon. Other than painting, her favorite hobby was fishing for salmon and trout in the coastal rivers of southern Oregon. Florence was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Brashar; and her sister, Arlee Ragsdale. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three grandchildren and their families, Cliff and Larrea Brashar of Albuquerque, Gary and Lynn Brashar of Trinidad, CO, and Lynda Brashar of San Juan Pueblo, NM. Florence had true class, she loved life, she lived a full life, and she made true friends out of those she met along the way. If you knew her, your life was richer for the experience. Many thanks to all who cared for her as her life came to an end. The family is particularly grateful to the caring staff and her friends at Acantilado Vista in Rio Rancho. Page -- David R. Page, 74, resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2000. Mr. Page is survived by his daughters, Debbie File and husband, Jeff of Albuquerque, Julie Fogler and husband, Vic of Arkansas; sons, Reed Page and wife, Kim, and Adam Page of Albuquerque; grandsons, David Stewart, Dennis Fogler, both of Arkansas, D.J. File and Reignen Page of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Melanie Koepke, Leslie File, both of Albuquerque and Ashley Fogler of Arkansas; brother, Jack Page and wife, Marjorie of Albuquerque; sister, Virginia Walker and husband, Dick of Ohio and Rosemary Harrington and husband, Kenneth of Ramah, NM. Mr. Page owned and operated Page Soft Water for 36 years. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2000, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Redmond -- James Lorraine (IKE) Redmond, born in Rocky Ford, Colorado on May 1, 1908 to George B. Redmond and Margaret Morgan Redmond, died August 21, 2000. Mr. Redmond was a graduate of Albuquerque High School and the University of New Mexico, where he actively participated in football, basketball and track programs. Redmond graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Chemical Engineering. In March 1928, while attending the University of New Mexico, he married Margaret Collister. Following graduation, Mr. Redmond had a lifelong career with the United States Corps of Engineers, where he was a specialist in flood control. Mr. Redmond was a longtime member of the First Congregation Church in Albuquerque. Additionally, he was a thirty-second degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of and past master of Albuquerque Lodge No. 60 A.F. & A.M. in 1940, a member of the White Shrine and Ballut Abyad Shrine. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge No. 461 of Albuquerque and the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Redmond is survived by a sister, Helen Pusateri and her husband, Vince of Washington, DC; a daughter, Margaret Joann Ullman and her husband, Dr. Jack Ullman of Silver City; a son, Frank Collister Redmond and his wife, Myrle Van Atta Redmond of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Dr. Duane Ullman and his wife, Rita, Diane Ullman Ellison and her husband, Bill, Donna Ullman Edgar and her husband, Robert, Margaret Redmond, and Elizabeth Redmond Allbright and her husband, Lee; great-grandchildren, Dora Ullman, Rachel Ullman, Susan Ellison, Steven Ellison, Margaret Edgar, Scott Edgar and Lauren Edgar. Mr. Redmond was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, to whom he was married for 53 years; a sister, Vera Catherine Pearson; and brothers, William G. Redmond and Russell B. Redmond. Stewart -- Alfred (Al) M. Stewart, a resident of Albuquerque since 1942, passed away suddenly of an abdominal aneurism on August 19, 2000 in Elk City, OK. Al was born in San Angelo, TX on November 24, 1933. He was a machinist by trade and worked for American Car Foundry (ACF). He was a pioneer in the automotive wrecking and towing business. Al was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Joy Stewart; and daughter, Rita Griego. He is survived by his two sons, Steven Stewart and wife, Debbie, Delbert Stewart and wife, Gail; daughter, Beverly Stewart; five grandchildren, Bryan and Krystal Stewart, Doren, Aubrey and Cheyenne Griego; and son-in-law, David Griego. Also three four-legged grandkids, Peaches, Lucky and Rascal Stewart; two brothers, Foster Atkins and Joe Stewart; and sister, Betty O'Bryan, all of San Angelo, TX. Al will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Stong -- Donavan M. Stong, 83, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 12 years, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2000. Donavan was born June 1, 1917, the son of Harry F. and Lola E. Burkhart Stong in Stanley, Wisconsin. He had been a bartender/manager of clubs for 30 years before retiring. Donavan served in the US Army during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 11, in Lafayette, Indiana for 45 years, and a 40 & 8 Member in Lafayette, Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Lenora of Albuquerque; two daughters, Sandra Lee Schrader of Westminster, CO, and Peggy Jo Wells of Commerce City, CO; five grandchildren, Michael Odom, Timothy Odom, Tammy Eberle, Christine Schrader, and David Schrader; and three Great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2000, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in Vista Verde Memorial Park with Pastor Ray Wells and Jerry Wells officiating. Torrez -- Eloy M. Torrez, age 78, passed away August 23, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Amelia of 57 years; his children, Priscilla and husband, Dr. Larry Smith, David Torrez and wife, Kathy, Dr. Michael Torrez and wife, Rosanna, Mary Louise and husband, Jim Bermudez, Kathleen and husband, Dr. Steven Bloom, Yolanda and husband, James Lunsford; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Alice Garcia and husband, Gregorio; and one brother, Santiago Torrez and wife, Maria. Mr. Torrez was a World War II Veteran and retired from Albuquerque Public Schools in 1982. He will be remembered by his WWII stories, vegetable garden, prize-winning chili, wonderful sense of humor, and most of all, his loving generosity. He was a longtime member of Southside Church of God and was very active in the Armijo Senior Citizens Center. A Prayer service and viewing will be held tonight, 6:30 p.m., at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with Pastor Richard Mansfield officiating. Cremation will take place and interment of cremated remains will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. We thank all that have touched Eloy's heart and the continued support from all our friends and family. Trujillo -- Ysidro Trujillo, 37, passed away on Saturday August 19, 2000. Ysidro was preceded in death by his father, Nabor Trujillo. He is survived by his mother, Martha Trujillo; a daughter, Leeann Trujillo; and two step-daughters, Dominique and Hope Baldonado. Also surviving are four sisters, Rosemary Garcia and husband, Joe, Dolores Trujillo, Darlene Trujillo, and Berna Trujillo; two brothers, Martin Trujillo and Patrick Trujillo; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 11:00 a.m., at the San Ysidro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Ysidro Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Trujillo, Nabor Trujillo, Patrick Trujillo, Rudy Anaya, Steven Vigil, and Joseph Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry Chavez, and Gilbert Chavez.
