Blea -- Shannon Jacobson Blea, 17, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 2, 2000. Shannon was born in Wattsonwille, CA on January 4, 1983. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Kohlhepp Sr., and Victoria Kline. Shannon is survived by her loving parents, David and Brenda Blea Kohlhepp; two brothers, Airman 1st Class Ronnie Jacobson and Dustin Jacobson all of the family home. Also surviving are paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Irene Blea; uncle Jimmy Kohlhepp; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Shannon will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitations will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located at 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will also be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Communion Service will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Danny Jacquez, Mike Kuffman, Chris Sandbarn, Jimmy Kohlhepp, Peter Witer and Armando Paz. Conner -- Maj. Lloyd W. Conner, (US Army, retired) 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died Sunday July 2, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen; daughter, Katherine ONeal and husband, Larry of Albuquerque; son, David Conner and wife, Alice of Loveland, CO.; grandchildren, Rebecca Rowley and husband, Steve, Lee Ann Lofstrom and husband, Chris, William ONeal and wife, Tami and Kevin ONeal and wife, Tara; great- grandchildren, Justice and Raven; and sister, Wilba May Cox of Milton, FL. Mr. Conner was a graduate of UNM and he served his country in the US Army for 21 years during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the US Army Retired Officers Association and of the National Systems Safety Society. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd N.E. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Headley -- Barbara Ann Headley, age 52, a 25 year resident, died Friday, June 30. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Peter and Dolores Headley; two brothers, Phil Reyes of Albuquerque and Larry Reyes of Tijeras. Born in Roswell in 1948 to Dolly and Lorenzo Reyes, married to Kenneth Headley 31 years, and an employee of the NM State Highway Department 12 years. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Funeral Home. Graveside services at the family plot in Tijeras will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday. Friends may follow the procession to the cemetery departing at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, from Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.

Johnson -- Arnold Johnson, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died Friday, June 30, 2000. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bessie Johnson of the family home; brothers in law Calvin Landis and family of Albuquerque and JB Landis and family of Sacramento, CA; sister Annette Helms of Quitaque, TX; brothers-in-law and family, Cal Landis of Albuquerque and J. B. Landis of Sacramento, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Following his service to his country in the military in 1945, in which he served under General Patton, Mr. Johnson moved to Albuquerque. He worked briefly for the Postal Service before going to work for Master Dry Cleaners, which he and Bessie eventually bought and operated until their retirement in the late eighties. Mr. Johnson was a longtime member of Christ Unity Church and the Shriners. Services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd, Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Guy Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Lomas Chapel on Tuesday, July 4, 2000, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Lancaster -- Alice Lancaster, 94, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 27 years, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2000. Alice was born on April 21, 1906 the daughter of Thomas and Anna Orth Walker in Selah, Washington. She had worked for Nordstrom's Department Store before retiring. Alice was a member of Mountain View Rebekah Lodge #36, American Legion Auxiliary #118, Rio Rancho Thursday Club, Rio Rancho Ranchettes, Vista Grande Project Happiness, and the Rio Rancho Rockhounds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart C. Lancaster in 1997, and one nephew, William Walker. Survivors include: Maureen Mitchell, Marianne Collins, Thomas Walker, Dick and Delos Circle, and many great nieces and nephews and friends. The Visitation will be on Thursday, July 6, 2000 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the Service following at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Rev. Lopez -- Mrs. Estrella D. Nunez-Bachicha Lopez, 49, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 2, 2000 with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband of two years, Rudy; three daughters, Jessica Bachicha, Pamela Bachicha and Zenaida Bachicha; three sons, Salvador Bachicha, Carlos Bachicha and Vicente Bachicha; her mother, Mrs. Severa Nunez; three sisters, Gloria Valencia and husband, David, Mary Agnes Chavez and husband, James and Shirley Ann Chavez and husband, Albert; three brothers, Eloy Nunez and girlfriend, Doris Zamora, Estevan Nunez and Daniel Nunez; one granddaughter, Allisa McLean; one grandson, Lorenzo Bachicha; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Lopez was a member of the Catholic Church. A Visitation will be Wednesday evening in the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Doris Zamora. Manzanares -- Ernesto Ernie A. Manzanares, 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, July 1, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Clementina Manzanares; sons, Conrad Manzanares and Floyd Manzanares and wife, Lorraine, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Kathleen Manzanares of Denver, CO; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Martinez -- Mr. David F. Martinez, 54, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on July 1, 2000. Mr. Martinez is survived by his beloved wife of thirty one years, Yolanda C. Martinez; his mother, Ann Young and husband, William; two daughters, Lisa Martinez and fiance, Daniel Puzak and Monika Martinez and Bob Jones; three sons, David Stewart, David A. Martinez and wife, Christina and Michael J. Martinez and wife, Teresa Romero; one sister, Victoria Rodgers and husband, Clarence; five brothers, Michael Martinez and Jennie Smith, Edward Martinez and wife, Sally Brown, Pat Martinez and wife, Agnes, Chris Martinez and wife, Joyce and Tim Martinez and wife, Priscilla; four grandchildren, David Carlos, Sophia Rehanon Stewart, Magen Martinez Jones and Thomas Jordon; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam Era and was decorated with the Purple Heart. A Visitation will be Wednesday evening in the Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Thursday morning in the church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors. Miller -- Eleanor Miller, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, July 1, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harvey Miller of the family home; daughters, Lisa Marie Cook and husband, Greg of Independence, MO; and Ami E. DiGregorio and husband, Michael of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Danielle Marie DiGregorio, Katelyn Shelly Cook, and Amanda Marie Cook; sister, Betty Lou Kirby of Albuquerque; brothers, Bill Carmer of California, and Joseph Oliver Carmer of Albuquerque; and special friend, Nancy Wood of Albuquerque. Mrs. Miller was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was previously employed by the Albuquerque Journal and Sandia National Laboratories, but her most cherished job was wife and mother, after her marriage to Harvey. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Coronado Thunderbirds, Sandia Roadrunner RV Club, and various bridge groups. She will be missed by all who knew her. Reed -- Alfred C. Reed, June 20, 1921 July 1, 2000Our loving and devoted husband and father passed peacefully on Saturday, July 1st surrounded by family and love. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bernice; son, Al of Albuquerque; and daughter, Lynn of Austin, TX. Al was a man who loved life and people and devoted himself to his family and friends. He was involved in many organizations and activities throughout his life. Al graduated from the University of Kansas. He was a lifetime member of Sigma Chi. He was a fighter pilot in the 8th Air Force Recon. during WWII. Al continued flying throughout his career and headed the GADO office of the FAA in Albuquerque. He was a charter member of Albuquerque Square Dance Association, member of the NRA, Quiet Birdmen and Dadaelons. Dad had a passion for backpacking, fishing, and golf. His family wishes to thank his doctor and the staff of Presbyterian Hospice who so kindly and compassionately cared for Pop and the family.
