Lopez -- Angela Mary Ann Lopez, 34, a resident of Belen, NM passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2000. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Martinez; her maternal grandparents, Manual and Isidora Maestas and her paternal grandparents, Louisa and Lorenzo Martinez. She is survived by her loving husband, Randy K. Lopez; her two children, Manuel E. and Andrea L. Lopez; her mother, Odelia Sanchez; her aunt and second mother, Erlinda Maestas; her brother, Anthony Martinez; and her sister, Diana Baca of Albuquerque; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Emiliano and Mela Lopez. Angela is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe G. Maestas, David Moya, John Lopez, Leroy Montoya, Michael Vallejos, Phillip Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Padilla, Jaime R. Sanchez, and Jesse Vallejos. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Montoya -- Daniel Montoya 68, a resident of Rio Rancho passed away March 30, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia Montoya on Sept 6, 1997. He is survived by five daughters: Janet Hernandez and husband, Juan, Cathy Romero and husband, Freddie, Marlene Jaramillo and husband, Orlando, Renee Montoya-Guerva and husband, Gerald, and Connie Holman and husband, Scott; Two Sons Johnny Gutierrez, and Manuel Barreras and wife, Bertha; five stepsons: Tommy Madrid, Alex Trujillo, Onofre Velarde, Gilbert Velarde, Rick Velarde and; also surviving are two Godchildren, Magdeline Gallegos, and Dominic Montoya; Thirtyone grandchildren; and 1 great-grandChild; two sisters, Helen Savala and Consuelo Perea; and two brothers, Fidel Montoya, and Abel Montoya. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow at the San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Holman, Jose Montoya, Manuel Barreras, Anthony Montoya, Frank Perea, and Orlando Jaramillo. Services are entrusted to the Alameda Mortuary, 898-3160, Gary F. Murphy -- Douglas E. Murphy was born on September 25, 1926, in Milford, Utah to Edith (Teen) Rowley Murphy and Douglas Murphy. Doug joined the Navy during WWII and served from May 4, 1944 to September 3, 1947. He started in submarine training then switched to surface vessels in the South Pacific. After the Navy, he worked at the Blue Angel (NYC), then attended Arizona State, Utah State, sold magazines, became a husband and father, and worked for Utah Parks Co. Change took him again to hotels and restaurants, including opening and managing luxury sites in Bermuda, the Bahamas, Washington DC, and San Francisco. Clines Corners didn't need a motel, but Doug stayed to run the retail operation until his retirement. Doug died March 29, 2000, from cancer. He leaves his wife of 21 years, Joyce Benfell-Murphy; daughter, Dee; son, Doug; seven grandchildren; three step-daughters; and one step-son. Doug was a member of Hiram Lodge, Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, was a Past Director of R.O.O.J., and a Past Exalted Ruler B.O.O.E. He was a long-time fixed-wing pilot, a hot air balloon pilot, and member of Shrine Aeronauts. Doug had many friends in all walks of life and will be much missed by family and friends, far and near. Donations to Shrine Childrens Hospitals, in lieu of flowers, PO Box 8410, Albuquerque 87198. Memorial Service will be held at Ballut Abyad Center, 6600 Zuni SE, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2000.

Perryman -- Joseph Perryman, 64, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Sunday, April 2, 2000. He is survived by his close friends, Lupe Madrigal and family of Albuquerque and Jim Thrash and family of West Lafayette, IN. Mr. Perryman was preceded in death by his father, Edward Perryman in 1996; and mother, Elma Perryman in 1991. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Sandoval -- Mr. Ambrosio H. Sandoval, 73, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on April 2, 2000. Mr. Sandoval is the beloved husband of 37 years to Mrs. Corrine M. Sandoval. He is also survived by seven daughters; Mary Jane Torres and husband, Fernando, Jeanette Lopez and husband, Ernest, Geraldine Sandoval and Danny Baca, Diane Sandoval, Josephine Sandoval-Jaramillo and husband, Johnny, Teresa Harrison and Martha Lucero; five sons, Juan Sandoval, Steven Sandoval, Leroy Sandoval, Paul Sandoval and wife, Yvette and Nathaniel Sandoval; four sisters, Trinida Morales and husband, Manuel, Delivina Romero and husband, Julian, Nina Onava and Julia Lopez; two brothers, Jose Sandoval and Rose, Benny Sandoval and wife, DeCloria; mother-in-law, Onesmia Marquez; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sandoval was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the World War II. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW with visitation after 6:00 p.m., The Blue Army reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with viewing at the Church after 8:30 a.m. Father Manuel Viera O.F.M. officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Juan Sandoval, Steven Sandoval, Leroy Sandoval, Paul Sandoval , Nathaniel Sandoval and Joshua Sandoval. Strain -- Mr. George Strain, born August 26, 1893 passed away April 1, 2000. Having lived in three centuries, Mr. George Strain, a resident of La Vida Llena in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away gently in his sleep on Saturday, April 1, 2000. Mr. Strain immigrated to the United States from Austria-Hungry in 1912. From peasant stock, he became a very successful businessman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An avid golfer, Mr. Strain was still playing and winning tournaments into his 90's. He retired at the young age of 100 and moved to Albuquerque. His life long partner, Dorothy Strain preceded him in death in 1984. Mr. Strain is survived by his son, George Strain Jr. and wife, Mary Ann; his daughter, Nadia Becker and husband, Richard; his granddaughters, Carol Lee O'Keefe and husband, Ken, Diana Lee Jarvis and husband, Dale and Debra Strain; grandsons, George Strain and wife, Elizabeth and Scott Huber; great-grandsons, Billy Tubb and wife, Karen Colin O'Keefe, Bryan Huber and Ian Huber; great-granddaughters, Kristin Tubb and Devon O'Keefe; great-great grandson, Zachary Tubb and loving niece, Olga Lazarevich. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends. Those who met George will never forget his wise and gentle ways, his kindness and his sense of humor, his tenacity nor the twinkle in his eyes. He was truly a"man for all seasons." A Memorial Service will be held on April 5, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. in Carter Hall at La Vida Llena, 10501 La Grima de Oro NE. Triandafilidis -- Dr. George E. Triandafilidis, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, April 2, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Lula Triandafilidis of the family home; and sons, John Triandafilidis and Stephen Triandafilidis, both of Albuquerque. Dr. Triandafilidis was affectionately known as Dr. T. by his colleagues, students and friends. He taught and did extensive research at the University of New Mexico. Dr. T. also taught at the University of Illinois, Urbana, Illinois and Rice University, Houston, Texas. Another of his accomplishments was founding S & J Enterprises in 1980, and he remained an active contributing partner until the day of his death. He will be greatly missed by his family and his devoted friends Jackson, Hercules, Kukla, Yogi and Boo. Trisagion will be held Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos and His Grace Bishop Anthimos officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Vasquez -- Lucy Vasquez, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years, died Thursday, March 30, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merced Vasquez; and grandson, Patrick Gurule. Mrs. Vasquez is survived by her children, Carmen Pacheco and husband, Alfonzo of Albuquerque, Mercedes V. Gallegos of Denver, CO, Sophia Gurule and husband, Louis, George A. Vasquez and former spouse, Martha, all of Albuquerque, Mario J. Vasquez and wife, Margene of St. Louis, MO, Fernando Vasquez and wife, Diana, Roberto A. Vasquez and fiancée, Linda Sue, Anna T. Vasquez, and Olga Ortiz and husband, Richard, all of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margarita Resendiz, and Teresa Tamarin and husband, Ernesto, all of Mexico; and brothers, Augustin Resendiz, Jesus Resendiz and Father Juaquin Resendiz, all of Mexico. Grandma Vasquez cared for many children over the years. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SW, with Father James Moore Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Vasquez's grandchildren. Villiard -- Nelle M. Villiard, wife of Lt. Col. Maitland C. Villiard, USAF Retired, died, March 29, 2000. She was born at Blue Ridge, Illinois, a farm community 18 miles N.W. of Champaign, Ill on August 6, 1913, the daughter of Ed and Stella Smith. She had three brothers and three sisters and is survived by two of the sisters, Versa Bookman of Rockford, Illinois and Laura Jeanette Statkus of Port Charlotte, Florida, and by her husband Col. Villiard and son M. Craig Villiard and his wife Christine of Albuquerque. Also grandchildren, April T. Villiard of California and Alex C. Villiard of New York City. She was active in the Wives Club, the thrift shop and ladies golf during and after her husbands military service at Kirtland AFB. She was a member of Desert Rose, O.E.S. During her husbands military service they lived at many bases in the U.S. and on an island off New Guinea in the south Pacific and in the Philippines and at Mildenhall, England with the Royal Air Force. They were married on February 15, 1933, and her husband was a Private in the Army Air Corps at that time. Graveside services will be held, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating.
