Conroy -- Perhaps you brought or served food. Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Dennis -- Linda M. Dennis, 54, of Edgewood, NM, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 1998 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Linda was born April 16, 1944 in the Bronx in New York City to John and Nellie (Jackson) Daly. She met Raymond Lee Dennis in Las Cruces, NM and they were married on June 3, 1961. Prior to their move to Edgewood in 1994, they lived in Socorro, NM for 19 years. Linda helped with the family businesses, was involved in many church and civic activities, wrote an award-winning humor column,"Ya gotta be Kiddin", for the El Defensor Chiefain newspaper, and raised their four children. She was the proud Nana of eight grandchildren and a friend to many, many people. Along with her husband, Raymond Lee, survivors include one one, John Ray Dennis of Socorro and his children, Zachary and Zakilah; daughter, Debbie Torres, her husband, Tom and children, Jasmine and Jared of Edgewood; daughter, Sandy Fletcher, her husband, James (Chip) and their daughter, Katie and a son due in February of Monticello, GA; and daughter, Cindy Lam, her husband, Fred and children Ashli, Zane and Tayli of Socorro. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Balke of Sierra, AZ. A private, family service was held Thursday, December 31, 1998 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Christine Hackett officiating. Burial followed at the Stanley, NM Cemetery with Raymond Lee Dennis, John Ray Dennis, Tom Torres, Chip Fletcher, Fred Lam, Steve Williams and Jay Santillanes serving as pallbearers. A Memorial Service and fellowship will be held on Saturday, January 9, 1999 at 12:00 noon at the Edgewood Believers Fellowship on State Road 344, one mile north of Interstate 40 in Edgewood. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in Linda's memory to Gideons International, P.O. Box 50126, Albuquerque, NM 87181. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary of Moriarty, 832-6130.

Edmondson -- Jody Edmondson, 72, passed away at home January 1, 1999. She was preceded in death by husband, George L. Edmondson; and son, Buddy Edmondson. She is survived by her loving children who will miss her greatly; and numerous family and friends. Memorial Services are pending. Interment will be with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Irons -- Dorothy Irons, 90, a resident of Overland Park, KS and a former resident of Los Lunas, died Wednesday, December 30, 1998, in Kansas City, MO. She is survived by her two nephews, Fred and John Gabler and their families in Overland Park, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Irons. Mrs. Irons was born in Germany on September 12, 1908 and came to this country at the age of 15. She lived the greater part of her life in Los Lunas. Mrs. Irons was a charter member of the Valley Lutheran Church in Los Lunas. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Kozlowski -- Mrs. Jennie Metzgar-Kozlowski, 94, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 2, 1999. Mrs. Kozlowski is survived by her three daughters, Diana Garcia and husband, Ben, Mary Helen Kozlowski and Barbara Ortega; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hilda Ortega; and son, Pat Kozlowski. Mrs. Kozlowski was a member of the Catholic Church, Woodmen of the World and American Legion Auxiliary Post #72. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SE with Visitation after 6:30 p.m., recited by Emma Chavira. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Monsignor Bazan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (time will be announced). Pallbearers will be Leroy Garcia, Benjamin Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Frankie Ortega, Felipe Kozlowski, Ben Garcia and Frank Garcia. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.

Martin -- After a recent stroke, William Lewis"Bill" Martin, 73, passed away December 26, 1998. He is survived by his spouse of 49 years, Barbara; and their four children, William Lewis, Jr. of Washington, D.C., George Ross of Balikpapan, Indonesia, Amy Hollister of Albuquerque and Samuel Andrew of Sunnyvale, CA. As a native Virginian, Bill entered the Army Air Force during World War II and flew B-17 combat missions with the 364th Bombardment Squadron, 305th Bombardment Group. Upon returning from the war, he completed his undergraduate degree at Marshall University. In 1951, he received his graduate degree with honors in Business Management from the University of California at Los Angeles. Bill and Barbara located to Albuquerque shortly thereafter where he began his distinguished career in various roles at Sandia National Laboratories as an Operations Manager. After nearly 40 years of services, he retired in February of 1991. During his retirement, Bill participated in the 305th Bombardment Group Association and their annual reunions, hosting the national event in Albuquerque in 1996. He and Barbara also enjoyed traveling the world. In addition to taking a cruise around the world, they visited international destinations that included Siberia, Europe, China, and South America. Services were held on December 31st at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. The honorary pallbearers were Lewis Martin, George Martin, Sam Martin, Roscoe Williams, Richard Donovan and Charles Kruger. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
