Baca -- Herman M. Baca, 84, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 1999. He is survived by his sons, Lorenzo Baca and wife, Connie of Belen, NM, Joseph Baca and wife, Josie of Rio Rancho, NM, Raymond R. Baca and wife, Leah of New Deli, India, Michael S. Baca of Albuquerque, Anthony Baca and wife Cecilia of Belen, NM and Jude Baca and wife, Susan of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Valerie, Joseph Jr., Elizabeth, Laura, Juanita, Michelle, Angela, Michael and Adam; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Stella Baca of Albuquerque, Tillie Proffer and Daisy Ayers, both of California and Lucy Baker of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Susie Baca of Belen, NM. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Baca, grandson, Jude Baca Jr., granddaughter, Melissa Baca, brother, Herman J. Baca and a sister, Irene Sanchez. Mr. Baca retired from the Santa Fe Railroad in the mid 1970's after 33 years service. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was very dedicated to his entire family. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 1999 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Place SE, with Father Bob Chabot, celebrant. Barb -- Dale Edward Barb, January 13, 1915 - December 18, 1999. It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of our father, Dale E. Barb on December 18, 1999. He is survived by his daughters, Gale Weaver and husband, Mac of Placitas, NM, Lola Barb-Hays and husband, Auge of Albuquerque; son, Darius Edward Barb and wife, Elizabeth of Reseda, CA; three grandchildren, Ashley Barb and Darius Christopher Barb, Hallie Hays. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Clara Barb, who passed away in July, 1995. He had a lifelong passion for flying and served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a First Lieutenant stationed in China in WWII. He later worked for the Soil Conservation Service and the Army Corp of Engineers as a Hydraulic Engineer, until is retirement. He will always be remembered for his smile, his love of books, his thirst for knowledge and as a wonderful father. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating. Blumas -- Aaron Z. Blumas, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on December 18, 1999. Aaron was born on October 20, 1922 in Lithuania to Eliezer and Anna Blumas. He was married to Rosa B. Zejani on February 2, 1949 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Aaron was a master jeweler for over 65 years. His passions were target shooting, fishing, golf and skiing. Mr. Blumas was a member of the Del Norte Gun Club - Meadowlark, the Senior Center fishing club, and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Aaron was a proud recipient of a certificate of appreciation from the Board of Sandoval Co. for participating in the intergenerational fishing clinic for youths in Sandoval County. Mr. Blumas is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosa of the family home in Rio Rancho; daughter, Marta Blumas of Albuquerque; his son, Albert and wife, Laurie of Roseland, NJ; his granddaughter, Jamie; and grandson, Justin. He also leaves behind his beloved four legged companions, Zac and Shadow. The family would like to thank Dr. Agarwal, Dr. Rambhia, and the wonderful staff of St. Joseph's Medical Center, especially the dedicated nurses of the 10th floor oncology unit. Aaron will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home. Carlson -- Jay Wells Carlson, born August 24, 1954 in Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque on Thursday, December 16, 1999. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carl and Elise Carlson. He worked for Southwest Airlines for 15 years, and during that time, served as a supervisor in the operations department. He started at the Albuquerque station in 1984 while he supported his son, Josh, daughter, Lindsey and wife, Joanne, provisioning 737 aircraft. In January of 1993, after two years of hard and dedicated work, Jay earned his private pilot's license in a Cessna 150. In his last year, he became involved with Calvary Church, where he went to study the ministries and learn more about his faith. He was a faithful church goer and spoke of what he learned to those who were important to him. Jay was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying skiing, hiking and camping with his family and friends. He was a kind and considerate soul who's outgoing nature earned the respect of those who knew him. He is survived by his son, Joshua G. Carlson, daughter-in-law, Moira Carlson and their son, Eric M. Carlson; daughter, Lindsey D. Carlson and her boyfriend, Michael A. Frost, wife, Joanne Carlson, his father-in-law, Henry P. Butscher, mother-in-law, Irene A. Butscher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and various family members throughout the country, and his lifelong friends from Littleton, Colorado. Now he leaves us to join those who love him in the spiritual world. We all love you Jay and we will miss you. Dollahon -- SHE IS NOT GONE....SHE IS JUST AWAY, AND ALWAYS KNEW WHERE SHE WAS GOING. EUNICE P. DOLLAHON, 4/18/1903 - 12/19/1999, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Sunday. She has joined her parents, A.A. and Clara Dell Hickson; husband, Willard E.; and son, Eugene and his wife, Olene. Eunice and Willard moved to Roswell more than 75 years ago, where they were lifelong members of the North Hill Church of Christ. She was an inspiration to all in her strength and faith. Eunice is survived by sons, Derrell D. and wife, Dorothy June and William"Bill" and wife, Gloria, all of Albuquerque; along with Gene's widow, Eva Lee Powell of Ruidoso. Dunifon -- Erma W. Dunifon, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died December 19, 1999. She is survived by five nephews; eight nieces, including Virginia Barbour of Snyder, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl P. Dunifon in 1991; one brother; and three sisters. She taught school in New Mexico from 1947 to 1973, including 14 years at Ranchos Elementary School. She was a member of the following organizations: United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, New Mexico Society of May Flower Descendants, Kappa Kappa Iota, and the New Mexico Teacher's Association. She was also a member of the Fruit Ave Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 21, 1999, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Wednesday, December 22, 1999, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Evans -- Max E. Evans - With peaceful, loving memory, the siblings, wife, children and grandchildren of Max Edward Evans wish him a good journey as he passes on after a long, hard struggle. He was a wonderful, loving, kind-hearted man with the will of a lion and he will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. He worked as a contractor building beautiful homes with his father and remodeled his family home to make it more comfortable and eye pleasing. He later worked for the Arizona Highway Department as an Engineer and then became a Civil Engineer with the Forest Service. He loved gardening and had a beautiful garden every year until he fell ill. He loved to sing and loved teaching his silly songs to his five children and 13 grandchildren. Max is survived by his wife, Pauline Evans; children, Max and wife, Karen Evans of Rio Rancho, Cathy Evans and husband, Devin Gray of Albuquerque, Lisa and husband, Ron Lips of Mayer, AZ, Mike and wife, Kathy Evans of Fort Leonardwood, MO, and Trish Evans of Albuquerque; siblings, Ray Evans of San Jose, CA, LaVon and husband, Earl Taylor of Yuma, AZ; and 13 grandchildren. We will all immensely miss his always open ear, his great fountain of knowledge and common-sense, his fun loving and teasing personality, and the great amount of love that he had for anyone, anytime. Hanna -- On December 15, 1999, W.R. (Bill) Hanna Sr., 81, a longtime Los Lunas resident, peacefully passed away. He is survived by his two children, Patricia Jane Smith and her husband, Robert Smith of Dallas, TX, W.R. (Bob) Hanna Jr. and his wife, Aleta of Los Lunas; grandchildren, Trevor Smith of Dallas, Tara Reyes and husband, David of Prescott Valley, AZ, W.R. (William) Hanna III and wife, Nicki of Los Lunas, Damian Hanna of Santa FE, and Marshal Hanna of Los Lunas; great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Reyes of Prescott Valley and Daiqori Hanna of Los Lunas; and his very dear friend, Marguerite Simons of Belen. Bill served 23 in the Air Force, retiring while stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base as Base Provost Marshal. He retired as Lt. Colonel. Following his retirement he was an avid golfer. Hughes -- Walter A. Hughes, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, formerly of Moriarty, NM, passed away suddenly Thursday, December 16, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Crystal Allen Hughes; his son, Stuart Hughes of Denver, CO; his daughter, Margaret Zahm and husband, Kim; and three grandchildren (of whom he was especially proud), Allyson, Adam, and Aaron, all of Albuquerque; his brother, Dr. Lloyd Hughes of Cedar Crest, NM; his brothers, Maurice Hughes and William Hughes; and sisters, Juanita Chappell, Lorine Arms, and Ruth Cook, all of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in his death by his parents; his sister, Gertrude Lamb; and his brothers, Leon Hughes and Andrew Jackson Hughes. Walter was born on July 10, 1917 in Portales, NM, the fourth of ten children, to Walter M. and Effie L. Hughes. He graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1935, and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1973. He was an active member of Central United Methodist Church. He enjoyed many hobbies, including genealogy research, weaving, needlepoint, spending time at their cabin in the Jemez Mountains, and traveling in their motorhome. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 20, at Central United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Martha Singleterry and Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Little Sunbeams Child Development Center or the Embroidery Guild, c/o Central United Methodist Church, the American Cancer Association, or the American Heart Association.

Jeffery -- Robert H. Jeffery, 79, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 23 years, passed away on Monday, December 20, 1999. Robert was born September 9, 1920 in New York City, New York, the son of Fredrick and Stella Boisseine Jeffery. He had been a fireman with the New York City Fire Department for 25 years before retiring and moving to New Mexico. Robert was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Joe Valez Knights of Columbus of Albuquerque #4227. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Jeffery. Robert is survived by his wife, Carmen of Rio Rancho; three children, Jennifer Watnemore and her husband, Jeff of Arvada, CO, Karen Jeffery of Albuquerque and Robert H. Jeffery, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Rio Rancho; three grandchildren, Melissa and Kelsey Watnemore, of Colorado and Timothy Jeffery of Rio Rancho; sisters-in-law, Ida Martins and husband, Joe and Grace Ugarteche; brother-in-law, Richard Serrata. Larsen -- Virginia Rose Larsen, 81, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, passed away on December 15, 1999 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Born February 27, 1918 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Clarence Bigelow and Francis Caroline Bigelow. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clarence and Francis; husband of 60 years, Nels; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Clarence and Richard; and sisters, Janet and Jean. She is survived by her brother, Warren Bigelow of Bloomington, Minnesota; sons, Norman Larsen of Elk Grove, California, Ronald Larsen of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and Kirk Larsen of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; daughters, Sandra Lamb of Douglasville, Pennsylvania, Cynthia Allen of Twin Falls, Idaho; Melanie Emerson of Woodstock, Georgia and Deborah Burns of Olympia, Washington. Mrs. Larsen is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Virginia grew up in Minneapolis and started working for a bakery part time at the age of 14. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in June, 1936 then attended the Humbolt Business College where she earned an associate degree. She then worked for the Family Finance Co. as a stenographer for a few years. Virginia was a wonderful mother, seamstress, cook and avid reader. As a young girl she loved to work, ice skate and occasionally won foot races. She was a great church worker, was a church organist at age 12 and loved reading the scriptures. Virginia will always be remembered for her constant kindness, goodness and service. She will be missed very much. There will be a viewing and a memorial service at the Bernalillo Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. A viewing and funeral will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at the Burnsville Stake Center, 9700 Nesbitt Ave S., Minneapolis, MN. Longee -- Alexander Longee, 87, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 1999. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen Longee. Nowlin -- Roy A. (Bud) Nowlin was born in Aurora, NE on September 16, 1916 and passed away December 19, 1999. He retired from the USAF in 1968 as a Senior Master Sgt. after 27 years, while in the Air Force he served during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Air Force and moving to Albuquerque he worked for JC Penney Automotive and retired from there in 1982. He was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and enjoyed Motor Homing with all three NM Chapters, The Chaparrals, Smokey Bears and Cuatro Estados. He is survived by his wife, Muriel of 53 years and one son, Gary and wife Joy and one grandson Gary II all of Allentown, PA. He was preceded in death by one son, Doug. Special thanks to the Alzheimer's Unit nurses and staff of Albuquerque Manor for his good care. Olson -- Jane F. Olson, 81, died December 16, 1999 in Albuquerque, of a massive heart attack. She was born in Aplington, IA, daughter of Ben and Wobbine Block and was the great-granddaughter of Captain Jan Luiken Janssen, founder of the once well-known Janssen Sailing Line (German). She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and for several years taught commercial subjects in high school in Iowa and Missouri. Her foremost love was her family and her Lord. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for over 50 years and taught Sunday School classes for 15 years. She and her husband were among the founders of the Albuquerque Scandinavian Club. She met the ordeal of diabetes, open heart surgery, numerous mini-strokes, abdominal cyst, and blindness with strong courage and resolution to take all steps necessary to meet her physical problems. Following open heart surgery, she ran 2 miles in 30" or less everyday for 12 years regardless of weather. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Harold S. Olson; daughter, Karin and husband, Richard Searles, and grandchildren, Mary and John Searles, together with a number of beloved nieces and nephews, most of whom live in Iowa. Riordan -- Helen Dolores Riordan, 87, died Friday evening. She is survived by her sons, Robert B. Riordan Jr. and wife, Linda, William Riordan, James Riordan and wife, Mary Ann, Dr. Richard Riordan and wife, Andra, Dr. Terry Riordan; and one daughter, Mary Ellen Letterio and husband, Jim. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband, R.B."Buck Riordan in 1978. Helen was born to Stanislaw and Zofia Rapala in Chicago on August 8, 1912. She became a registered nurse in 1934 and worked at Cook County General Hospital. Helen entered the airline industry during its infancy when nurses were required to accompany flying passengers. She graduated with the second class of stewardesses with Trans World Airlines in 1936. Because of airline rules at that time she was required to leave that position when she married. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1948 and was very active in the church and school at Our Lady of Fatima during the 1950's and 1960's. After her youngest child started full time school, Helen returned to nursing. She worked at Bataan Memorial Methodist Hospital, B.C.M.C., Santa Fe National Hospital and retired from St. Joseph's Hospital. Her work was mainly in neurosurgical, intensive and critical care nursing. Despite an active work and home life, Helen traveled abroad with her children during their formative years rounding out their education with introductions to foreign cultures. After her retirement, she maintained her friendships with coworkers including membership in the Clipped Wings, an association of former airline stewardesses. The family would like to especially thank Gloria Webb, her nurse, whose devotion and care for Helen during the past year was inspirational. Services include a visitation at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary Monday, December 20, in the Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Services will be held at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21.

Sanchez -- Dorothy Ann Sanchez, 42, passed away December 17, 1999. She was preceded in death by her sister, Emila Chavez; grandparents, Manuel and Emila Chavez and Edward and Mary Jane Lopez. Dorothy is survived by her husband, John Sanchez; and daughter, Lisa Sanchez; mother and father, Manuel and Josephine Chavez; mother and father-in-law, John and Priscilla Sanchez; sister, Alberta Chavez; brothers, Rick and Anthony Chavez; and nieces, Maria, Vanessa, and Jane. She was a beautiful person and loved everybody. Memorial services will be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. Savage -- Carolyn"Carol" Savage, 72, a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years and originally from Montana, died Saturday, December 18, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Savage of the family home; son, Mark Savage; daughters, Lynne Shea and husband, Mark, Lee Ann LaVigne, all of Albuquerque, and Janet Waterman and husband, Edward of Fort Collins, CO; 10 grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Hallowell of Helena, MT, Margaret Stallman of Portland, OR, and Marie Scovel and husband, Chuck of Boise, ID. Mrs. Savage was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a great lover of books and had her own home library. She was incredibly generous with her family and friends. Mrs. Savage had suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for over 50 years, and during this time she showed faith, courage, and a positive attitude. Services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd NE, with Pastor Bruce W. Wilder, officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Schifani -- Emmanuel Schifani, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, December 18, 1999. He is survived by his son, William G. Schifani and his two children, Allison and Christine and their mother, Ruth M. Schifani; as well as his son, David A. Schifani and wife, Marian, and their two children, Christopher and Kate. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred. Gen. Schifani was born on July 12, 1916 in York, PA. He attended grade and high school at St. Mary's and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1935. Gen. Schifani attended the University of New Mexico, class of 1939. He was also a graduate of the Air Force Flying School, the Command and General Staff School, the Air War College and the National War College. Gen. Schifani entered the Royal Air Force in 1940 and in 1942 entered the U.S. Air Force, flying 65 combat missions in B26 bombers in Europe. He was recalled to service during the Korean Conflict in which he flew 20 combat missions. Gen. Schifani returned to the Air National Guard Reserve Force and became Chief of Staff and also Adjutant General of the State of New Mexico. He retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve at the rank of Lieutenant General. During Gen. Schifani's distinguished service career, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Air Medal with 9 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, State of New Mexico Distinguished Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Korean Presidential Citation and several campaign and service medals. General Schifani joined Springer Corporation in 1945 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer. At the time of his retirement in June 1974 he held the position of Chairman of the Board. General Schifani served on several boards and committees including the Secretary of the Air Force Policy Committee for three years, the U.S.O. National Council, Past State Campaign Chairman of the U.S.O., Member of the National Red Cross Organization Committee in Washington D.C., Past President of the local Red Cross Chapter in New Mexico, Member of the Armed Forces Advisory Committee, Former Vice President of the Cancer Society Chapter, Former President of the Polio Foundation of New Mexico, Past Director and Campaign Leader of U.C.F., Former Chairman of Nazareth Hospital Board, St. Joseph's Hospital Board, Casa Angelica Board, Vice President and President Elect of the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, City Commissioner of the City of Albuquerque, Board Member of Visitors and Governors of St. John's College of Annapolis, MD and Santa Fe, NM, Director of the Bank of New Mexico, Allied Van Lines, Inc., Past Director of Mountain States Employers Council in Denver, CO and American Home Security Life Insurance Company. He also served as Past President of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Metro"70's" and Chairman of the Albuquerque Growth Committee, the Industrial Foundation of Albuquerque, and the Albuquerque Urban Coalition. General Schifani received the 4th degree of the Order of Knights of Columbus and was a founder and campaign chairman of the Carmelite Cloistered Convent. He was also a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher and the Holy Cross of Jerusalem. He was a Past President of the Albuquerque Petroleum Club and senior active in the Rotary Club. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 1999, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas NE, 87110 with Father Francis X. Shoemaker -- Ira Pauline Shoemaker, 91, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, December 18, 1999. She is survived by her son, Clarence Ray Shoemaker of Albuquerque; a daughter, Charlene S. Raicevich and husband, Robert of Florissant, MO; sisters, Lois Thomas of Everman, TX and Ruth Smith of Yukon, OK; sister-in-law, Laura McClanahan of Chandler, AZ; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Mrs. Shoemaker was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Shoemaker; and her son, Ronald Zane Shoemaker and wife, Jill. Mr. & Mrs. Shoemaker were married in Oklahoma City, OK on September 29, 1929. She was a hard-working businesswomen and partner with her husband, Charles. They owned and operated several dry cleaning businesses in New Mexico. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing, sewing, crocheting, gardening; sightseeing and painting. Mrs. Shoemaker was very much loved, and will always be remembered. Spradlin -- Wayne Spradlin, age 69, died Saturday, December 18, 1999 in Amarillo, Texas. Wayne married Ilene Jones on August 13, 1955, at Mt. Dora, NM. He is survived by his wife, Ilene Spradlin; one daughter, Janae Vandiver of Clayton; three sons, Sam Spradlin of Amarillo, TX, Ron Spradlin and David Spradlin, both of Albuquerque; three brothers, Sidney Spradlin of Plano, TX, Alvin Spradlin of Albuquerque and John Spradlin of Tucson, AZ; and ten grandchildren. Wayne worked at the Farmers and Stockmans Bank in Clayton from 1947 until 1968 when he started Spradlin Bookkeeping Service, which he owned and operated along with his wife, Ilene until he retired in 1996. Wayne was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, where he served as a Deacon, Trustee, and on the Finance Committee. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, with Rev. Bill Rammage, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Vigil -- Mr. Jose M. Vigil, 101, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 19, 1999. Mr. Vigil was the beloved father to four daughters, Marcella Cleland and husband, Andrew, Nancy Trujillo and husband, Joe, Ramona Ramirez and Bertha Vigil; four sons, Lawrence Vigil and wife, Mary, Jerry Vigil and wife, Mary Ann, Adolph Vigil and wife, Doreen and Ralph Vigil and wife, Nadalie. He is also survived by a special grandson, Bryant Cleland; 27 other grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Manuelita Vigil, 1975; and a son, Tony Vigil. Mr. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church, veteran of the U.S. Army Service in WWII, a life member of the American Legion Post 100. A Rosary will be recited by Gabriella Nieto, Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. Wells -- Maude L. Wells was born in Coatopa, Alabama on October 27, 1900. Two brothers, Jobe and Percy; a sister, Haley Delle; two daughters, Marzine and Billiejean preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, M. Delle Hawkins of Rio Rancho; sons, David M. Davies and wife, Beatrice of Albuquerque, Jeroyd F. Evans and wife, Lucy of Loveland, OH. Surviving grandchildren are Michael D. Davies, Timothy F. Evans, Andrea C. Watson, Norwood (Buzzy) Thomas, Leslie Newton and James Anthony (Tony) Morrow III; great-granddaughter, Deborah Gibson; and great-great-granddaughter, Kayla Gibson. A host of nephews and nieces are left to share in the mourning of her passing. Mrs. Wells spent most of her life in De Moines, Iowa. She was a life member of Ozeil Chapter #8, Order of the Eastern Star, P.H.A., and a charter member of Corinthian Baptist Church, where she held offices in various Auxiliaries. She died of natural causes at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 1999. Wiley -- Anna F. Wiley, 82, who lived most of her life in Albuquerque, died Sunday, December 19, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Huel L. Wiley of Albuquerque; son, Philip A. Parkhurst and wife, Peggy of Grants; daughters, Theresa P. Nelson of Bosque Farms and Claire L. Bailey and husband, Timothy of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Carmen Sexson of Albuquerque. Mrs. Wiley moved to Albuquerque from Springer in 1934. She graduated from the old Albuquerque High School and was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. She was our life, she inspired into our hearts sentiments of virtue that life's struggles cannot eradicate; she imprinted and modeled our life's career, and her teachings we always practice and humbly respect. Zierer -- Gregory Paul Zierer, 41, a resident of Albuquerque since 1873, passed away on December 19, 1999. Gregory was born in Las Vegas, NM on June 18, 1958. Gregory was an avid outdoorsman. His passions were fishing and camping and he loved white water rafting. He also enjoyed bicycling. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Ulibarri; and his brother, John J.
