Alvord -- Lowell Robert Alvord, age 59, passed away Saturday, December 4, 1999 in Oroville, California. Born March 5, 1940 in Ogden, Utah, Mr. Alvord was a sales representative for Erskine-John's Plastic Corp. for ten years. Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling. He was involved in inventing the original prototypes for the artificial heart. He was also involved in the development of the stealth bomber, while he was a teacher for the Job Corp. Prior to working at Erskine-John's, he was the manager for Modo Enterprises, where he was involved in the designs and working of fiberglass furniture. For the last five years, he spent his time taking care of his father, Lowell W. Alvord, who preceded him in death by May of this year. Bob is survived by his wife, Lorna Alvord of Oroville, CA; his children, Richard Alvord of Ogden, UT, Michael and Marsha Alvord of Roy, UT, Nola Diamond of North Hills, CA, Radcliffe Davis of North Hills, CA, Del Roy Diamond of North Hollywood, CA, Shanna Haynes of Oroville, CA, Kevin and Lena Diamond of Oroville, CA; sister, Irene Butlers of Salt Lake City, UT; 18 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Memorial services were held Friday, December 10 in Oroville, California. Burial will take place at a later date at the North Ogden Cemetery in Ogden, Utah. Arrangements are under the direction of Scheer Memorial Chapel.

Andrews -- Betty R. Andrews, 62, an Albuquerque resident since 1967, died Tuesday, December 7, 1999. Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband, John E. Andrews of Albuquerque; sons, John G. Andrews and wife, Andrea M. of Albuquerque, Randy L. Andrews and wife, Danielle S.M. of Parker, CO, and Michael E. Andrews of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Arthur E. Andrews and Katharine E. Andrews, both of Albuquerque, Luke Alsip and Joy Alsip, both of Parker, CO; brothers, Jimmy J. Pierce of Livingston, TX and Robert O. Pierce of Riviera, TX; sister, Lindya Hester of Oklahoma City, OK; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Andrews was an active member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Club 200. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 13, 1999 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Bain -- Jeniel Bain, 67, a resident of Albuquerque for 21 years, died Wednesday, December 08, 1999. She was the daughter of Edward and Dagmar Evans of Springfield, ID. Mrs. Bain was a member of the LSD Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerome Bain of Albuquerque; son, David Bain and wife, Peggy of Springfield, ID; daughter, Louise Ruth Gaschler of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jennifer Riley and husband, Ben and Valerie Bain, all of Idaho, Chris Billos, Brad Gaschler and wife, Brenda and Heather Gaschler, all of Albuquerque; and a great-granddaughter, Sierra Riley; brother, LeMar Evans and wife, Sharon of Kennewick, WA; sister, Lucille Columbo and husband, Frank of Ovid, ID. Cremation has taken place.

Bobb -- Floy Bobb, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died Wednesday, December 8, 1999. She is survived by her son, Dale Bobb and wife, Jean of Albuquerque; daughter, Betty Oracion of Roswell; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; longtime good friends, Naomi Woodard and Opal Russell. Mrs. Bobb was retired from Albuquerque Public Schools Cafeteria Services. She was an active member of Paradise Hills United Methodist Church. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Paradise Hills United Methodist Church, 4700 Paradise Blvd. NW, with Rev. David Snyman officiating. Internment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Kevin Bobb, Jubal Bobb, Heath Bobb, Vance Oracion, Tim Oracion, Steve Sharp and Lee Wilks. Davis -- Mr. Joe S. Davis left us to be with the Lord on December 8, 1999, he was born in Galisteo, NM on November 23,1902 and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; three brothers; and four sisters. Joe is survived by two brothers, Charlie and Paul; three sisters, Celine Raff, Mary Kuhn and Anne Walker; his two sons, Ozzie and Richard and wife, Theresa; five grandsons, Gary and wife, Lisa, Rick and wife, D'Andrea, Stan, Rusty and wife, Karen, and Chuck Davis; also two granddaughters, Arlene and husband, Dan Basta and Lisa Ann Davis; five great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. Joe was an avid Republican in South Valley politics, he was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, where he was a self-appointed traffic director, usher and fund raiser. He belonged to Caballeros of St. Anne, Cursillo and Holy Name Society, and took it upon himself to assist at many Funeral Masses. Glover -- Ellen Fitz Glover, 54, of Manassas, Virginia, died Monday, December 6, 1999 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Vernon J. Hayes -- Joseph Paul Hayes died peacefully asleep in his home on Monday, December 6, 1999, due to heart failure related to diabetes. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 30, 1931. He was a graduate of Columbia University. He had been a licensed Physical Therapist and a pilot in the United States Air Force. He spent the latter half of his life in Albuquerque, where he owned a successful medical supply business and for the past nine years, served in the Public Service with the Social Security Administration. He is survived locally by his immediate family, his former spouse, Elaine; their son, Eric; and two daughters, Shannon and Kelly; as well as four grandchildren, Amanda and Katherine Hayes and David and Amber Rael; and many cherished personal friends. His surviving family member in New York include his brother, Richard and his wife, Alby; his brother-in-law, Charlie George; and nieces and nephew, all of whom he adored. Visitation will be held this Sunday, December 12 at Fitzgerald and Sons Mortuary, 3113 Carlisle NE, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held Monday, December 13 in the Chapel of Fitzgerald & Sons, at 10:30 a.m., presided by the Reverend Myron White. Pallbearers will include John Dungan, Donald Rael, Loretta Montoya, Chrissy Salazar, Doug Smith and Dave Slocum. Johnson -- Rosalind Johnson, 55, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Thursday, December 9, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Neal Johnson, R.Ph, owner of Clinical Pharmacy. Mrs. Johnson is also survived by her sons, Erik Johnson and Holley of Moriarty and Kurt Johnson and Rebecca of Albuquerque; and grandson, Lucian Johnson; and a grandchild on the way. She was a mother to us all and will be greatly missed by all her friends and loved ones. Napoleon -- Joseph Napoleon January 6, 1909-December 5, 1999 Joseph Napoleon, age 90, passed away December 5, 1999 in Lansing, Michigan, where he has lived since 1993. Born in Valliant, Oklahoma in 1909 to Walter & Frances Napoleon, he moved to Albuquerque with his wife and three children in 1935. He lived in Albuquerque for 58 years and raised his family He worked for the Korber Co. until his retirement at age 65. He was member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for many years and later was active in Fellowship Baptist Church His wife Florence Napoleon precede him in death in 1989. His son Clinton Napoleon also died in 1984. He is survived by two daughters, Martha S. Lilly and husband, Donald J. Lilly of Spanaway, WA and Natalie O'Riley of Albuquerque; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of many friends. Funeral services are big held in Lansing, MI and interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, in the family plot, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Romero -- Carlos Romero, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, December 6, 1999, in Baldwin Park, California. He is survived by three brothers, Eddie Romero and Matty Romero, both of Albuquerque, Joe Romero of La Puente, CA; two sisters-in-law, Mary Romero of Albuquerque and Laura Romero of La Puente, CA; also surviving are nieces and nephews, many who will miss him and loved him so very much. Visitations will be Sunday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Stover, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening.
