Leathers -- Maria"Bennie" Gutierrez Leathers April 24, 1931 - May 19, 1998 It has been a year and it seems like yesterday you were here laughing and smiling. We miss you!IN MEMORYGod saw she was getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around her and whispered: "Come with Me." With tear filled eyes we watched her suffer And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands to rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best! For only the best endure suffering, And make us look up to Him, For His saving grace and compassion, That carries us to His bosom. It is lonesome here without you, Life doesn't seem the same, Since you have died and gone a way, Each time we see your picture, You seem to smile and say: "Don't cry, I am in God's hands, We'll meet again someday." A million times we've missed you A million times we've cried. If our earthly love could have saved you, You never would have died. God's eternal love is greater, And it is only in eternity with Him, Is where our enduring love rests to stay. Love from your children & grandchildren
