Anderson -- Mr. Arthur Anderson Sr. died Thursday, February 25, 1999 in Albuquerque at the age of 46. Bohannan -- Ann Mulcahy Bohannan passed away in Albuquerque on March 3, 1999 after a long battle with lung disease. She was born in Albuquerque in 1932 to H.I."Iggy" Mulcahy and Marcella Reidy Mulcahy. She was a graduate of Albuquerque High School and the University of New Mexico. Ann lived many years in Northern New Mexico, served on the Red River Town Council, and taught school in Questa and later in Eagle Nest. She enjoyed summers tending bar. She is survived by her son, R.P. Bohannan and his wife, Jo Tabacchi and their two sons, Jack and Will, all of Albuquerque; by her daughter, Beje Bohannan and Kirk Langford of Eden, UT; by her brother, Jack Mulcahy and wife, Diane of Albuquerque; and 17 nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Nita Etcheverry; and step-mother, Effie Newman Mulcahy. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 1999 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE. At Ann's request, at a later date, family and friends will be invited to gather at the Laguna Vista in Eagle Nest in celebration of Ann's life in the pines. Her ashes will then be scattered at Elizabeth Town, New Mexico. Casados -- Larquin J. Casados, 63, departed this life to join his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 2, 1999. Larquin was a native of Albuquerque and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 33 years; he served five years in the United States Army; he was an active member of NALC Branch #504, Lobo Booster Club, Sierra Club, and the American Legion Post #49. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Inez Casados; and a sister, Nancy Anderson. Larquin is survived by his loving, devoted wife and companion of 35 years, Charlene Casados; his mother-in-law, Carmene Romero, who he loved and cherished as his own mother; a brother-in-law, Ed Sandoval, who he claimed as his own brother; a sister-in-law, Stella Naranjo; seven children, Anthony Casados, Lisa Casados-Barnett, Monica Casados-Schott, Maria Casados-Gallegos, Ray Lawrence, Mitchell Lawrence, Theresa Lawrence; 13 grandchildren of whom Edward"Marty" and Richard Muenz he raised and loved as his own; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary on 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 9:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church. Crowley -- Cornelius Crowley, 77, of Fedhaven, Florida, died Sunday, February 28, 1999 at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Crowley is survived by his sons, Neal Crowley of Arlington, VA, Michael Crowley of Houston, TX, and Paul Crowley of Port Arthur, TX; daughter, Patricia Crowley of Miami, FL; brother, John Crowley of Brooklyn, NY; sisters, Nora Crowley of Phoenix, AZ and Eileen Crowley of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cornelius lived in Fedhaven, Florida since 1992, coming from Albuquerque. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, member of"The Fighting 69th", and D.A.V. and Elks Lodge, and was a building manager for the government. Martinez -- Santiago (Santa) Jimmy Martinez, 60, a lifelong resident of Los Lunas, passed away at his home Monday afternoon after a short illness. Jimmy was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Peralta, NM. He was an all star athlete in High School graduating in 1957 and an avid sports fan. He retired from the Los Lunas Schools. Jimmy worked for the schools 23 years prior to his retirement in 1993. He is survived by his: wife of 33 years, Mary Lou Martinez; three children, Dolores, Jimmy Jr., and Brenda Lou; grandson, Noah James; mother, Josefita Martinez; brothers and sisters, Irene Smith, Billy and his wife, Esther, Nick and his wife, Betty, Geneva Barela and her husband, Ramon, all of Los Lunas, Dora Montoya and her husband, Jimmy of Albuquerque. Jimmy is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-6:00p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Myers -- Frances Lynell Myers, 85, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999. She was born November 1, 1913 in Celeste, TX to Martin and Ollie May Evans. Frances lived in Celeste for several years, until along with her parents and two sisters, she moved to Muleshoe, TX. She lived there until she married Audie Myers and they moved to their homestead in Fence Lake, NM. There were four children born to this union; Anita Gaye, Leta Faye, Jimmie Audine and Martin Lloyd. Frances is survived by her daughters, Leta Travis and husband, Elton of Los Lunas and Jimmie Vandever and husband, Keith of Umatilla, OR; son, Lloyd Myers and wife, Bonnie of Ramah, NM; 11 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; her husband, Audie; and an oldest daughter, Anita Gaye. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Boyd Morerod officiating. Porter -- Myrle Chapin Hamm/Porter, born September 11, 1900, died Friday, February 26, 1999, at the age of 98. She is survived by a niece, Sally Kleeman of Illinois; two cousins, Ruth Shelton of Albuquerque and Millie Chapin of Illinois; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several step grandchildren. Myrle was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie Hamm in 1972; and by her second husband, Wade Porter in 1994. She was a professional woman for many years, working for the State of Illinois. Myrle loved her church and enjoyed her many friends. She was especially proud of her family's heritage, tracing back to "Deacon" Samuel Chapin, who was born in England, migrated to America in 1635, and helped establish what is now known as Springfield, MA in 1636. Myrle loved sacred music and actively attended her church well into her 95th year. She was a member of Monte Vista Christian Church. Memorial services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, with the Rev. Glenn W. Ricketts and the Rev. Fred W. Dorisse officiating. Quinn -- Ruth Quinn, born April 19, 1900, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 1999, after a long full life. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Robert Fay Quinn; and by her beloved children, Robert Quinn and Lois Brunsman. She is survived by her children, Janet Cox of Tijeras, NM and Roger Quinn of Cincinnati, OH; as well as by 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Steele -- Shelby F. Steele, 75, a resident of Tijeras died Monday, March 1, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Steele of Tijeras; sons, Shelby Steele and wife, Diane of Alaska, Dennis Steele of Texas; daughters, Mary Steele of Pennsylvania, Luan Green and husband, Kalvin of Washington, Tressa and Darrel Harris, Alvah Brown and husband, Karon, Shira Zippe and husband, Kurt, all of Texas. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Fara Holmes of Texas; one brother, three sister-in-laws, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Steele served in the Air Force SAC (Strategic Air Command) for 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the DAV and he was a member of Ambassador Ministries House of Zoe (Apostolic Prophetic Church). Torrez -- Mary Ann Martinez Torrez, 50, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 3, 1999. Mrs. Torrez was a resident of Albuquerque, she was born March 8, 1948 in Grants, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Felicita Martinez. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Torrez Sr.; her three sons, Charles Torrez Jr. and wife, Bernadette, Julian Torrez and wife, Luann and Eric Torrez; her two daughters, Rose Chavez and husband, Rick, and Crystal Torrez; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Andre, Ricky, Patrick, Charles III, Desiree, and Matthew; seven brothers, Pete Martinez and Bertha, Benny Martinez and wife, Alice, Joe E. Martinez, John Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Gilbert Martinez and wife, Albita, Rudy Martinez and wife, Eillen; two sisters, Odelia Torrez and husband, Felix Torrez Jr., Joann Trujillo and husband, Tino; 28 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and one uncle. Wicks -- Riley Jackson (Jack) Wicks was born on January 29, 1929 in Durham, NC to Norman and Mary Elizabeth Wicks. He passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 1999.
