Fireovid -- In loving memory of E. Eugene (Gene "Pop") Fireovid, 63, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Diane S. Fireovid of the family home; daughters, Kelly Rogers and husband, Troy and their children, Dustin, Zack and Blade, Shelly Cavasos and husband, Mark and their children, Whitney, Craig and Gage; mother, Dorothy Fireovid; sisters, Marilyn Miller and husband, Ken and Connie Thomas; sister-in-law, Elaine McKinley and husband, Tom; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Alan and his father, Dean Fireovid. He was a retired teamster of local union 492, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and a member of Elks Lodge #2500. He was an avid sports and outdoorsman. He enjoyed slow pitch softball and bowling. Services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School NE, with Pastor Larry A. Wright officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier, OH. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
