Gentile -- Fred Gentile a resident of Rio Rancho was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 9, 2001. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the DAV. Prior to retirement, Fred worked for many years at General Electric. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Ramona; daughters, Sylvia and Dorothy; son, Patrick; and nine grandchildren; sisters, Mary and Carmela; and brothers, Frank, George, John; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank-you to friends and neighbors of the Enclave and his friends from General Electric. A Visitation for Fred will be held in the Chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home on Friday, April 13, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon. Graveside Services will immediately follow the visitation at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho at the corner of Sara and Meadowlark with Pastor Rick Donaho as Officiant. Military honors will be provided by New Mexico Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Gerald Gibbons, John Long, Chris Baca, Charlie Rice, Joseph, Donald and Richard Kozlowski. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathon and Patrick James Garcia. Services are under the care of Rio Rancho Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM (505) 891-9192.
