Monget -- Ralph Roland Monget, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1973, died Thursday, May 10, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maria Monget of Albuquerque; sons, John P. Monget and wife, Loretta of Albuquerque and Ralph R. Monget, Jr. and wife, Alicia of Las Cruces; daughters, Toni M. Harris and husband, Glynn David and Romenia E. Montgomery and husband, Steve, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, David Harris, Jessica Harris, Hope Harris, James Montgomery, Kevin Montgomery, Shannon Montgomery, Steven Monget and Andrew P. Monget; great-grandchildren, Donte Harris and Deja Harris; brothers, Robert P. Monget, Jr. and Edward Wright; and numerous other family members and friends. Mr. Monget was a Korean and Vietnam War era veteran who retired from the Air Force after serving his country proudly for 27 years. He then began a second career with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 18 years in 1993. Mr. Monget was an avid fisherman and hunter. Above all else, he had an undying love for his family and they will miss his humor, his company and his love. Rosary will be recited Monday, May 14, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 15, 2001 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by French Mortuary Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
