Victoriano -- Michael Jerome Victoriano, 59, entered life on April 4, 1942 at Acoma Pueblo and entered Eternal Life on November 21, 2001 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his current wife, Joyce Marie Stansbury-Victoriano; and his children's mother, Pamela Rodreguez of Acoma, Pueblo; his children, Albert Romero and Annett Romero of Acoma, Kenneth Fitzgerald Victoriano of Albuquerque, Billie VIctoriano of Grants, La Donna, Danielle, and Melissa Victoriano of Acoma, Byron Victoriano of Albuquerque; three step children, Christina, Amy and April Stansbury; one aunt, Lupe Martin and one uncle, Wilbert Augustine of Acomita; also brothers and sisters, Florence and Benny Valley of Acoma, Mary Victorino of Acoma, Susan and Stan Mariano of Laguna, Lucinda Victorino of Acoma, Monroe Victorino of Acoma, Ethel Sanchez of Palmdale, California , Lorencita Goldston of Star Idaho, Franklin and Judy Victorino of Acoma, Santanna Phillips of Acoma; 25 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 30 plus nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. Michael attended Albuquerque Indian Boarding school in 1956 and Santa Fe Indian School from 1958 until 1959. He went to Cleveland, Ohio where he completed Welder's training in 1962. Then he moved to Idaho where he worked for Thiokol from 1967-1971, he helped remodel the ski terminals for Sun Vallie, Idaho and Sandia ski terminals in Albuquerque. In 1971 he returned to New Mexico where he studied with the BIA Law Enforcement and on the job training to become a police officer. He worked as an officer from 1971-1979. From 1981-1983 he trained and worked as an EMT-Paramedic/Fire Rescue for the Acoma-Laguna area. In 1983-1985 he worked as a head start teacher's aide and school bus driver in Threau, N.M. for the Navajo Nation. From 1988 until 2001, he worked as an Independent Evangelist, and has assisted Brother William (Bill) Fragua at All Nations Assembly of God Church, and Pastor Veryl R. Edgerly of the Pentecostal Church of God, of San Rafael, N.M. taking the Gospel to our Native Americans through New Mexico. He supported himself by working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Kitchen prep at Nursing homes and Retirement homes, located in Santa Fe, Grants and Albuquerque. He retired from Vista Del Rio in 2000 when he was diagnosed with cancer. Visitation will be Friday morning after 9:00 at the All Nations Assembly Of God Church, 1119 Menual N.W. with a Funeral Service to be held Friday morning at 10:00, Pastor William (Bill) Fragua and Pastor Wayne Gayton of The Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Music will be provided by All Nations Assembley of God Praise Band with special music by Althea Platero. A wake will be held Friday evening at 7:00 at the home of Mary Victorino in Acomita, New Mexico. Graveside service and interment will be Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Acoma Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Kenneth Victoriano, Byron Victoriano, Albert Romero, Monroe Victorino and Anthony Victorino, and David Wanya. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
