Kilgore -- Christopher (a.k.a. Pablito) Kilgore, age 34, was involved in a violent accident on November 1, 2001 and finally succumbed on November 20, 2001 after a valiant fight to breathe on his own. Christopher has a myriad of skills and talents, some known and some unknown. Chris has an EE 98 and a GB 98 and his major project was when he was in charge of troubleshooting and installation of the control panel and performing major electrical, mechanical and hydraulic work during the building of the Keck Observatory on Mauna Kea on the big island of Hawaii. He also worked on the TDRSS satellite programs and atmospheric pressure tests on the Borealis lights in Alaska. When possible Chris loved stream fishing, most especially in Ruidoso for German Browns. He is survived by his two sons, Jacob Paul (14), Andrew Lee (11) their mother Bonnie; his father, Donald E. Kilgore (Deke) and step-mother, Carole Kilgore; mother, Ann W. Tackett-Policastro; his brothers, Kedin Kilgore; and Michael J. Policastro; his step-brother, Kyle Marrero; his step-sister, Yvonne Marrero Walters; also surviving him are his grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. Donald E. Kilgore and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece. Services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m. November 23, 2001, at St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church 431 Richmond Pl NE. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery 700 Yale SE. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Martins Center. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of his arrangements.
