Montoya -- Carmelita G. Montoya passed away November 24, 2001. She was born and lived In the Los Griegos area of north Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Montoya; daughter, Alice Sanchez; grandson, Eric Garcia, and is survived by her children, Esequiel Garcia and Julia Fernando; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, on Saturday, December 22, 2001 at 1:00 p.m., with burial following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
