Swink -- Martha Swink, 89, died in her sleep at her home at 4712 Dona Rowena NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 where she resided for 14 years. Martha was born April 4th, 1913 in Uniontown, Kansas, daughter of Kelly and Gertie Weston. Martha married Hobart Swink (deceased 2/1/68) in April of 1932. Martha was a homemaker and worked in a butcher shop they owned for several years. She also worked at the Lansing drugstore and Montgomery Ward in Leavenworth for many years until her retirement. She loved being involved in Lansing 1st Baptist Church and served others well. She was also a member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church in Albuquerque. She moved to Albuquerque in 1989 due to failing health. She is survived by two daughters, Berniece Coopersmith and Nadine Kelley, and one son, Siegle Leroy Swink, and eight grandchildren: Gary and Lisa Bearly; Michael, Debbie, Kevin Kelley and Sharon Dickens; Sherry Glass and Connie Swink. She also had 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She loved them all very much and took great pride in them, and she was a good friend to others. She will be greatly missed by all. A visitation will be held Monday, March 24th, 6-8pm at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth, KS. Funeral services will be held on March 25th at the funeral chapel at 11am led by Pastor Ray Gilstrap. Interment services will follow at Mt. Munci Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Martha Swink to Presbyterian Hospice, 8100 Constitution Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
