Martin -- Arthur R. Martin, age 88 and a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died on February 10, 2003. Mr. Martin was a bricklayer in Albuquerque since the mid-1950's. After retirement Mr. Martin was anxious to return to work so he began his second career at Rocky Mountain Stone Company from 1979-1995 where he made very dear friends and acquaintances and enjoyed taking care of the roses. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Martin; children, Patty Collins and husband, Jerry of Albuquerque and Gary R. Martin and wife, Wendy of El Segundo, CA; grandchildren, Damien Martin and Debbie Kiefner and husband, Steven; and great-granddaughter, Haleigh Kiefner. A Reception of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Saturday morning, February 15, 2003 in the Sunroom of Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
