Vaughn -- James Allison Vaughn, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 3, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Marie Vaughn of Albuquerque; son, Dr. Stephen Vaughn and wife, Deborah of Albuquerque; grandson, Christopher Andrew Vaughn of Albuquerque; brothers, Dale Alton Vaughn of Spur, TX and Everett Andrew Vaughn of Enid, OK. James is preceded in death by his parents, Osmar Andrew and Ruby Hester Vaughn; his sister, Veeda Beryl Fowler of Sanford, CO. Mr. Vaughn was an Electrical Engineer. He retired in 1991 after 40 years of service from, EG&G, Inc. and was also a former employee of REECO at the Nevada Test Site and the Pacific. James was a resident of Albuquerque for one year, previously living in Boston, MA. Service will take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with Reverend Happy Shaw, officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE.
