Candelaria -- Mr. Vivian Candelaria, a life long resident fo Moriarty NM, passed away Sunday January 19, 2003 at his home in Moriarty. Mr. Candelaria was born December 2, 1910 in Chilili, NM to Lorenzso and Petrolina (Mora) Candelaria. Mr. Candelaria was preceded in death by his wife, Isidora G. Candelaria, in 1992, two sons, Joe and Lawrence Candelaria, and daughter-in-law, Sofie Candelaria. Mr. Candelaria is survived by two daughters, Barbara and husband, Mike Tapia of Moriarty, NM, Trinnie and husband, Humberto Martinez of Gilbert, AZ: three sons, Pete and wife, Terry Candelaria of Moriarty, NM, Jr. and wife, Helen Candelaria of Moriarty, NM, and Julian Candelaria of Albuquerque, NM: 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; and one 1/2 brother, Joe Lucero of Albuquerque, NM. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 21, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. The mass will be celebrated Wednesday January 22, 2003, 1:00 p.m. also at the Church.
