Farmer -- Jana Wanell Farmer, 57, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away, Friday January 17, 2003, at her home, with her family beside her. Mrs. Farmer was born August 3, 1945 to Clyde & Wanda (Garrison) Jackson, in Albuquerque, NM. Mrs. Farmer worked at Furr's Grocery for 29 years, she retired in August 2001. She loved the outdoors, she was an avid hunter and fisherman. She enjoyed taking her kids and grandkids to the rodeo's. She was an active member at her church, Valley Gospel Tabernacle in the south valley. She also taught Sunday School at Bosque Farms Assembly of God, until she became ill. Jana W. Farmer is survived by her husband Ronald R. Farmer, they recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, they were married July 1, 1962, in Albuquerque, NM. Other survivors include her mother Wanda Jackson; three daughters, Vickie and her husband Damon Hall, Katherine and her husband Bill Brown, and Loretta Lyn and her husband Virgil Rankin; two brothers Homer and wife Carolyn Jackson, and Clyde David and wife Charlene Jackson; one sister Karen and husband Rev. Clyde Fulfer; and nine grandchildren. Jana W. Farmer, was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by them all. Funeral services will be held Monday January 20, 2003-11:00 AM at Valley Gospel Tabernacle, 1820 Valley Rd. SW, Albuquerque, NM, with Rev. Everett Smith & Rev. Brent Fulfer officiating, burial will follow at the White lake Cemetery, Gran Quvera, NM. Pallbearers will be Rusty Whitehurst, Randy Billingsley, Danny Hentz, Bobby Hissa, and Karl Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Teter Rankin, Bill Brown, and Damon Hall. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, in Mountainair, NM 847-2331.
