Fedor -- John L. Fedor, 79, resident of Albuquerque and Estancia, NM since 1978 passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet M.; daughters, Margo Holzey and Gail Holcomb; step-children, Tina Kannard, William Swansinger, Sandra Larupe and Bruce Swansinger; grandchildren, Paul Lindow, deceased, Brandy Freechack and Abe Labadie; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Christine Labadie, and Mercedez Swansinger. He was born and raised in Twinsburg, Ohio with his siblings, Frank, Carl, Abbey, Steve, Joe his twin, Marge and Betty, all deceased, Ed of Roswell, NM and Bill in MO. He began his three year stint with the U.S. Army's 1st armored Div. under Gen. Patton as a tank Driver. The first thing he did when discharged, was buy his Harley Davidson, his love. Being a farm boy and learning mechanics and welding, he was a most versatile and adept man. There was nothing he could not do, repair or make. Crosses adorn churches in Ohio, wrought iron railings, gates every where. He built, installed the inner workings of the frozen food operation for Stouffers new plant in Solon, OH in the 70's. He could tell you the size of anything within an inch just by looking. Needed something made or fixed? He'd say"No Problem." Need a tool for a job and there was none? He'd make one. He loved his family, dancing, camping, his Harley, his dog, Buddy, and puttering around in his barn. All who knew him loved and respected him. He was always there to help anyone in need. Oh, how he is missed. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 7, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique. A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 8, 2003, 10:30 a.m. with Father Anthony Martinez officiating. Full military honors will follow the Mass. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Grant G. Preston, Funeral Director. 505-832-6130.
