Duran -- Our beloved Marcia Cecelia Duran passed away peacefully on December 30, 2002. She was a life long resident of Alameda in Albuquerque, NM. Marcia was a living example of a strong and courageous person. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her Father Floran Lucero; brother, Robert Lucero; and Sister, Edna Ortiz. She is survived by her Mother, Estella; and brothers, Joe Lucero and wife, LaVerne, Arthur Lucero and wife, Pauline, Salvador and Floran Jr.; sisters, Perma and husband, William Saavedra, Frances Saiz and husband, Louie, Mary Jane Candelaria and husband, Phil, Isabel Sandoval and husband, Chris, and Stella Lucero. Marcia had a Special Goddaughter Tanya Maestas; 20 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Modesto Sanchez. We were inspired by the 25 years of strength through her long illness and we were privileged to have this special angel on earth. Rosary will be held Thursday, January 2, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary.
