Schwab -- Elmer (Bud) Schwab, 74, resident of Albuquerque since 1958, born in Riverdale, NE died December 24, 2002. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley; son, Douglas of Albuquerque; daughter, Rhonda and husband, Keith; and his two beloved grandchildren, Erika and Kellen all of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Mayme Hughes and husband; and a niece and nephew. Preceded in death by sister, Betty Jean; and his parents. Proudly served in the United States Navy. He was in the construction business for 27 years. Enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening and woodworking. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
