Varga -- Eleanor P. Varga, 81, passed away April 26, 2003 after a short bout with cancer. Her husband, Joseph preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by sons, Robert and wife, Karen Varga, Kenneth and wife, Ruth Varga; daughters, JoAnn Ziegler Price and husband, Robert Price, Paula Gonzales and husband, Nicholas; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her brother, Walter Mleczko and sister, Catherine Sullivan, both of Las Vegas, NV. Eleanor served in the WACs in WWII and continued involvement in the WAC Albuquerque Chapter until her death. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Asbury Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria NE with Rev. Todd Salzwedel, Eleanor's grandson-in-law officiating.
