Anaya -- Fred P. Anaya, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003. He is survived by his son, Fred S. Anaya and wife, Sandra; daughters, Mary Louise Sena and Bonnie De Herrera and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Steven F. Anaya and wife Suzann, Cheryl Maturino and husband John, Michele Gutierrez and husband Louis, Christopher Anaya and wife Tina, Joyelle Sena, Brenda Sena and Benjamin Sena and wife Ashlie; 13 great-grandchildren, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Simona Davis and Isabel Garcia and husband, Antonio; brothers, John Anaya and wife, Clara Belle, Henry Anaya and Charlie Anaya and wife, Dolores; sister, Marylou Salazar and husband, Hank; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara S. Anaya; brothers, Antonio P. Anaya and Joe M. Anaya; and parents, Basilio and Miquelita Anaya. Fred was a lifelong member of St. Therese Little Flower Church, and part of Holy Name Society. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. Fred was a member of Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 13, past president of NM Society of Public Accountants, and past member of NM State Board of Public Accountancy. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 12:30 p.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, with Deacon Manuel Montoya officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward De Herrera, Steven Anaya, Christopher Anaya, John Maturino, Louis Gutierrez, Benjamin Sena, and Gerald Garcia.
