Chelius -- Helen R. Chelius, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967 and past resident of Los Alamos, NM, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003. She is survived by her daughters; Marilyn Cushing of Irving, TX, Kathy Montoya and husband, Joe of West Valley City, UT, and Elizabeth Gordon of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Brian Chelius and wife, Edra Lynn of Orlando, FL, Don Chelius and wife, Kathy of Henderson, NV, Leo Chelius, Jr of Santa Fe, NM, Patrick Chelius of Albuquerque, NM and Stephen Chelius of Portland, OR.; brother, Reid Rowberry and wife, Priscilla of Salt Lake City, UT.; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leo Chelius, Sr. Helen served as secretary of Sunday school in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many years where she would lend a helping hand to those in need. She was a wonderful, caring mother and wife, and will be missed by all. Services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Eubank Ward, 4109 Eubank NE, 87111. Friends may visit the Eubank Ward, Relief Society Room one hour prior to service.
