Goodgame -- Elizabeth Marshall Goodgame, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, died Monday, July 14, 2003. She is survived by her son, Thomas Harper Goodgame Jr. of Albuquerque; sister, Constance Newell of Massachusetts; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Marshall and Jonnie Goodgame, both of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harper Goodgame in 1997. The Goodgames lived in the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph, MI area for many years, where she was chairman of the St. Joseph Arts Association during the construction of the Krasl Art Center. She also worked as a volunteer with the Y.W.C.A. in St. Joseph, teaching arts to children. Mrs. Goodgame had a love of fine arts and always enjoyed educating others and promoting their appreciation. They retired to Alamogordo, NM, where both were active in community activities, and finally moved to Albuquerque in 1996. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 18, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., at La Vida Llena Lifecare Retirement Community, Carter Hall, 10501 Lagrima de Oro NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. She will be joining her husband in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Krasl Art Center, 707 Lake Blvd., St. Joseph, MI, 49085.
