Gauna -- Edward A. Gauna, peacefully embraced eternal life on July 10, 2003, after enduring a lengthy illness. He was born September 26, 1943 to Willie and Josephine Gauna in Vaughn, NM. He graduated and served in the U.S. Army. On November 25, 1967 he married Jane Muller. He attended T.V.I. and was owner of Duke City TV for many years. He and his wife then purchased a beef jerky company in Albuquerque in 1977 and became proud cofounder of J & S Food's Inc. manufacturer of Bar X Beef Jerky and Jane & Daughter's Frozen Green Chile. He is survived by his wife Jane Muller; his three daughters, Debra J. Gauna, Janet and Elizabeth Gauna; his seven precious grandchildren whom he loved and admired, Alex, Amanda, Gabriella, Marriah, Brittney, Angel and Jasmine; his mother, Josephine Gauna; one brother, Ted Gauna; three sisters, Eileen Gauna, Loyola Gauna and Susan Elzey also many relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gauna; two brothers, Steve Gauna and William Gauna and recently by his sister, Jeanne Gauna. He will be greatly missed by his family. A rosary will recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jose Hernandez on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the St. Anne Catholic Church. Services are in the care of:Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
