Thayer -- E. Nadene Thayer, age 77, of Albuquerque, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Charles L. Thayer. Mrs. Thayer was employed as an Engineer with Mountain Bell, and retired from US West after 35 years of service. She enjoyed traveling after her retirement. Nadene was deeply loved and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children, Edith Charlene Thayer, Charles Martin Thayer and wife, Joyce, Michele Atwell; grandchildren, Rick Baca, Nadene Sieffert and husband, John, Crystal Atwell, Vanessa Atwell, Christopher Pate, Corissa Pate, Elisa Thayer, Chuck Thayer; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Stone Grimm and Natasha Sieffert; brothers-in-law, William Thayer and wife, Connie and Robert A. Thayer, Jr. and wife Donna. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 27, 2003, 4:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 28, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa Street, 984-8600.
