Chavez -- John M. Chavez Jr. 29, left us to be with our Lord on July 20, 2003. He is survived by his father, John M. Chavez Sr. of Las Nutrias; his mother, Sylvia Montoya of Los Lunas; step-mother, Diane Chavez; sister, Andrea Chavez; his beloved niece and nephew, Audra Naomi, and Derryke Jiron; stepsister, Lori and her husband, Shawn Bottom; grandparents, John and Mela Chavez, and Teresa Gallegos and the late Jimmy Montoya. He loved all his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We all, as a family love him and will miss him dearly. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Peralta. Direct Funeral Services in Albuquerque is in charge of arrangements.
