Collins -- Mary Rudolph Collins, 82, an active member of Annunciation Catholic Church since 1959, joined her husband Burt in heaven, on Wednesday, August 20, 2003. They had been married for 53 years. Burt had died October 25, 2000. Mary Collins is survived by her Sons: Kevin Collins, Brian Collins and wife, Heather of Albuquerque, and Eric (Boo) Collins of Placitas; Daughters: Colleen Young of Sandia Park NM, Janeen Cobb and husband, Ken of Centerville, TX, Mary Ann (Pinky) Lindeman and husband, Mark of Monument, CO, and Celeste (Dolly) Smith and husband, Mac of Seattle, WA; Grandchildren: David Young, Katrina Grantz, Peter Young, Carla Cobb, Sarah Adams, Evie Cobb, J. B. Cobb, Eric Lindeman, Megan Lindeman, and Mei Le Smith; Brothers: Al Rudolph, Fr. Fred Rudolph, and Jerry Rudolph; Sisters: Sr. Celesta Rudolph, Celine Miller, and Theresa Rudolph. Mary was an Army nurse during World War II, where she met Burt in the Philippines. They raised 7 grateful children together. She was an award-winning realtor for Hooten/Stahl from 1982-1988. She and Burt spent many happy years traveling in their RV, the ťCoyote Cruiserť, before his death. She spent her last day before death shopping at the commissary and doing water aerobics. She was a wonderful mom and a caring grandmother. We will miss her deeply. Her brother, Fr. Fred Rudolph SVD, will celebrate a memorial Mass for her Saturday, August 23, 2003, at 8:30 a.m., at Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment of cremains will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC, where Mary will be resting for all eternity next to her beloved husband, Burt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of Divine Word Missions, Techney, IL, 60082; the Society of Jesus at Georgetown University, Washington, DC, 20057; or to the Sisters of Divine Providence at Allison Park, PA, 15101.
