Pearl -- George C. Pearl, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948 passed away Saturday, August 16, 2003. He is survived by his sister, Bernice Pearl Sanders; sister-in-law, Ellouise Pearl all of Albuquerque; nephew, Carlton Pearl; nieces, Carol N. Baldwin and husband, Harry of Albuquerque and Jimmie G. Landers and husband, Fritz of Mason, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virgie Pearl and brother, Lewis C. Pearl. George served in the U.S. Army during WWII, where he was wounded in action. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. George worked for many years as an architect where he was a partner at Stevens, Mallory, Pearl and Campbell. Private funeral services will be held, a memorial service will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be Michael Dickson, Bob Campbell, Chris Wilson, Barret Price, Robert Mallory, Harrison Schimdt and Paul Kenderdine. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Hurley, Bob Mallory and Don Stevens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Humane Assoc. of NM, Inc. 615 Virginia SE, 87108.
