Voet -- Chief Warrant Officer, Robert Joseph Voet, US Army Retired, died on August 6, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane Voet of Albuquerque; brother Roger Voet of Barra de Navidad, Mexico; son James Voet of Albuquerque, and son Steven and his wife Margaret Alcock of Santa Fe. Robert Voet was born on October 13, 1921 in Appleton, WI to John and Evelyn Voet. He completed a military career in 1965 having served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II and subsequently in the regular Army. In 1965 he joined the UNM Police Force rising to the rank of Sergeant, before retiring in 1972. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, On Monday, August 11, 2003, at 10:30am.
