COFFEY -- Marie M. Coffey, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 7, 2003. She was born on August 26, 1932, the daughter of Matthew and Helen Malone and was raised, along with her brother, Patrick and sister, Helen, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Marie worked for the F.B.I. in Chicago, IL, where she met her husband. She married Frank Coffey on January 10, 1953. He preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by her four children, Frank Coffey Jr., Cindy McGill and husband, Curt, Carol Adler and husband, Bob, and Janet Hrncir and husband, John; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael and Bob Coffey, Adrienne and Steve McGill; one sister, Helen Malone of Glen Ellyn, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Frank and Marie raised their family in Forest Hills, NY, until moving to Albuquerque in June of 1973. She worked at Phillips Petroleum and Futures for Children. Marie loved traveling, gardening, pets, photography and music. In 1987, she graduated with distinction from UNM with a Bachelor's Degree in University Studies. Marie will be remembered for her integrity, her loving spirit, her caring way and her joyfulness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 11, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel NE. The family wishes to thank Dr. Amy Tarnower of Lovelace Hospital for her special care and concern. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central New Mexico Affiliate, Susan G.
