SCOTT, JOSHUA BANNON age 24, born on March 5, 1990, passed into the loving arms of Our Lord on January 25, 2015 with his Mom, Liz by his side .. Joshua and his Mom, Lizzie shared a life of extreme closeness and love. Her love and devotion to him was without measure, and sustained them for 25 years together through many difficult medical challenges. They touched so many lives with their courage, their ability to laugh and smile and to love unconditionally throughout Joshua's whole life. He was a true gift from God, and our family was so honored and blessed to have him in our lives for as long as we did. Joshua enjoyed just being a part of all the boisterous activities of his brothers, Ryan and Sean along with cousin Matthew and friend, Michael Woods, while watching them playing their video games and rough housing as boys do. Josh loved his hugs from his Dad and his walks with his nurses, Jennifer and George. There were so many things about Josh that eventually would help people to understand the difficulties of how severe disabilities had affected himself and his family around him. There are so many doctors and nurses, especially Dr. Sandra Whistler, that helped with Joshua's care, we thank you all. Many thanks to Mariposa Hospice for all of their loving care for both Joshua and his family. Joshua is survived by his parents Elizabeth Scott MacGillivray and Jeff MacGillivray; brothers Ryan and Sean; his maternal grandparents Eugene and Carolyn Scott; aunt Pegi and uncle Jay Sheraden; cousins Jane and Matthew Sheraden. He is also survived by grandparents Jim and Jodi MacGillivray; aunt Debbie and uncle Jim MacGillivray; cousins Noah, Joe and Michaela; and friend Dwayne Baker. The Celebration of Joshua's life will be held at 10 am on March 7, 2015 at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joshua's name can be made to Camp Enchantment Cancer Fund, 6100 4th NW, #105, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Camp Enchantment is a camp for children who have had or have cancer, and together with their siblings enables them to enjoy a week of fun, camp activities and a sense of normality.
