GRIEGO JR., JOHNNIE D. age 68, born in Springer, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. Mr. Griego is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Gloria; sons, John D. Griego III and wife, Tiffany, Jerome Griego, and Joshua Griego; his father, John D. Griego; sisters, Sara Marquez and husband, Pete, Mary Anne Lucero; brothers, Ernie Griego and wife, Eloise, Eppie Griego and wife, Dorothy, Geno Griego, Jimmy Griego , Rick Griego and wife, Tammy, Victor Griego; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Vincent, Joshua Jr., Aundria; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Griego was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving during the Vietnam Era. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. A Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be John Griego III, Jerome Griego, Joshua Griego, Jonathan Griego, Vincent Griego, and Joshua Griego Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Petitt and Joseph Padilla.
