Her love for her family and friends was endless and she affected even the most distant acquaintance with her benevolence, compassion, and understanding. Emma is preceded in death by her husband Isidro Roybal; her daughter, Rosemarie Rovelli; and her son, Robert James Roybal. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Palya and Tay Gallegos, both of whom live in Albuquerque and brought Emma great joy in her later years.
